I just wanted to share how amazing my HH is!! For the second time, my son’s computer broke down. To fix it, it would cost more than the laptop itself. He has had to work from his phone and I know it has been difficult for him with his school work. I prayed for my HH to provide financially and most importantly with the BEST laptop for the replacement. My EH and I have no idea about computers and every time we try to inquire about them we get so confused and lost. So for weeks, we have been putting it off and my son has so patiently waited.
Since spring break is coming up I mention to my EH about going with our son to the Microsoft and Mac store to see if someone there could help us and purchase a laptop. I always pray for my Love to guide us in every purchase and that we find a great deal. Then, my EH said to call a previous customer of ours, that we repaired his car, because he seemed very knowledgeable about technology. I agreed but was concerned with our past experiences, people getting too complicated with explanations or too busy to take the time to help, but I obeyed and found his number.
I called him, got his voicemail and left him a message. I was thinking, he may not remember us, but 5 minutes later the phone rang and before I can speak he was greeting me by my name. I kindly shared the purpose of my call and said if he was too busy he could call me back. Well ladies, not only did he take the time but he so simply explained the “important” things to look for in a laptop and offered to go on Amazon. He sent me a link to the one he highly recommended and it was on sale for a great price!! I was amazed. I actually understood what this laptop had and how it would work for my son’s needs and found one, hundreds of dollars cheaper than what they normally go for. As a matter of fact, he said weeks earlier he had been looking for a laptop for his girlfriend and this is the one she purchased.
I was just in awe and we purchased it!! My Love and His timing made everything work out perfectly and effortlessly. Not only is this laptop a blessing for my son, but it will be for me also. Many times my EH says I can stay home and relax from our business but I don’t because the only computer I have is at our office and I must do my ministry work. Now my HH has allowed this to be possible, so I can stay home and work for the Spanish Ministry. He is so amazing!! I am so in love.

Ministry Note: I’m in awe of Lota’s amazing testimony!!! I was in stunned, not only by what He did for your Lota’s son and also Lota to now have the freedom to work from home. But also because my laptop also just died and like this testimony, was more expensive to fix than replace.
I immediately claimed double because normally I upgrade and pass my computer to someone in the family. So far, just like He always does—He’s blessed me MORE than double. First, I was led to “finally” upgraded my phone. I’d held onto my “very old” one, far too long according to my grandson who asked me as I was driving why my phone was so old. As we normally do, I was able to share with him the principle of waiting and also listening to and ask Him to lead me.
I explained how we have to first “acknowledge” Him, which is like if He was sitting in the seat next to me and I needed to find my way somewhere, saying how much better He is than a GPS. He got excited and said enthusiastically, “God knows everything, Mimi!!” And I said, “Exactly” and that’s why Mimi is letting her lead her to upgrade but first along my journey I’ve asked Him to show me what to do about a phone for Aunt Tara to use while traveling in Europe.” I shared these 3 verses with him.
Psalm 23: 1-3 “The Lord is my Shepherd…He LEADS me…”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways ACKNOWLEDGE Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
Isaiah 30:21 “Your ears will hear a word behind you, ‘This is the way, walk in it,’ whenever you turn to the right or to the left.”
When we got to our destination, I heard an email come in. Normally I ignore them, but this time I opened it to see a special offer for a new phone! I showed it to my grandson and he squealed with delight. So I said, “I guess it’s time to get a new phone.”
A day later, when I got to the store for my carrier, I explained why I’d first come in, “to figure out the right phone (cheapest) to send with my daughter to Europe” but also I was also ready for an upgrade. Without hesitation, he said, “Well, you’ve paid off your phone so you can request it to be unlocked and just give it to your daughter.” I playfully punched his arm and said, “YES, that’s it! I’ve been asking God for weeks what His plan was, and also claimed double when my computer died last week. Now I’m beginning to see the recompenses coming in!”
Later in the appointment, not only did my DIL get a gift, my oldest grandson get a tablet for half price (he’d been saving up for) and I was blessed with the most innovative phone I could ever have imagined having. But by the end of my appointment, the young man had asked me how he could get A Wise Woman and A Wise Man to study with his wife because He wanted to learn more about a double recompense.
Isaiah 61:7-8 “Instead of your shame you will have a DOUBLE portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion Therefore they will possess a DOUBLE portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the LORD, love justice, I hate robbery . . . And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them.”
That day I ordered both paperbacks and dropped them by the day they arrive. The man I gave them to (since the other young man was at lunch) got very excited saying how excited he told everyone he was to get the workbooks—this means he’d also shared it with his coworkers.
Yes, of course, I shared each of these details with my grandson who hung on every word. Since then, I’ve witnessed that he’s using, at just 6-years-old, several principles. Principles he keeps putting into practice and is excited to share with me “WORK!!”

UPDATE: It wasn’t until Tara was on her LALTour that she and I realized why He had done it this way, Tara using my old phone, for such a HUGE reason. My old phone stayed connected to ME. Each time she contacted someone, took an Uber, took screenshots of where she was going—I was able to see EVERYTHING. She felt comforted knowing I was able to see she was safe and exactly where she was and what she was doing.
