Today is Friday and it’s the day for the LALTour PR. I’m so glad you are following the Encouragement blog \o/\o/ There are so many things to share too! But first of all, I want to Praise the Lord for what He is doing in my life. Thank You, Beloved, I can’t express with words the feeling of being truly loved!!
So let’s begin with Athens-Greece!!
Our time in Greece was short but very enjoyable and we couldn’t believe that we saw everything that we wanted to see in just one day! Thank You, HH. When we got in our flat, Tara and I were so excited that we could not wait for the next day to begin our walking and exploration!! So, we just left our suitcases in the living room and went out to just walk around the city!!
Our first stop was in a cozy restaurant for a traditional Greek food! Not really the typical Gyro, but something absolutely scrumptious!! After eating, we went to walk more and we were so shocked when we saw the Parthenon and the Acropolis were right there—so close to where we were staying!!! Only He could have orchestrated that!!
On the second day, we woke up very early and walked from our flat to a breakfast place and from there to the Acropolis. It was just a 10 min walk from the place we were staying!! Tara bought the tickets and our journey began 😉
We both want to praise the Lord because we got there at the right time just before it opened and when we left, just 1 ½ hour later, it was very crowded and the weather was very hot! When we entered the Acropolis we didn’t know what to see first, it was amazing, so beautiful I never thought that one day I would be in the Parthenon, only He could make it happen!!
Walking through Greece, I saw that many of the ancient objects were made of bronze, so the Lord brought to my mind the dream that King Nebuchadnezzar had with the head that was “made of pure gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron, its feet partly of iron and partly of baked clay” (Daniel 2:32-33).
While Tara and I were talking, I shared with her that Daniel already said that Babylon, specifically Nebuchadnezzar, was the head of gold (Daniel 2:38). Babylon fell to the kingdom of the Medes and the Persians (Daniel 5:26-31). Greece became the successor to the Medo-Persian Empire (Daniel 8:20-21; 10:20 – 11:14). While talking about it, Tara and I were amazed by His wisdom and all the things that He shared with us—we could have spent our whole time talking about Him and praising His name!
*By the way, Tara was fascinated that gold is what is sold everywhere in Turkey, while in Greece when you go to buy something, everything is bronze!
The next day we flew much farther north. Our flight from Athens to Ireland was very nice and thankfully, He kept me calm during the whole flight \o/.
Our first stop in Ireland was Dublin!!!! What a beautiful city and so GREEN, wow! We got a little bit of rain when we got there, but soon He opened the clouds and we had our beautiful, clear and blue sky, Thank You, Beloved, so we could enjoy the tour taking the Red Bus and also the many touristic points. Our first full day in Dublin we decided to have dinner in the city, but, the thing here in Ireland is that to use the buses you need to have the exact amount of fare in coins!!!
We headed to the bus stop and just when the bus was coming, Tara realized we didn´t have any € coins! I asked the lady that was waiting for the same bus with us if she could exchange the paper money we had for coins, but she didn´t have coins with her. So I asked her where we could go to obtain some but she said that there wasn’t a place near.
Well we were hungry and desperate for coins :)) so Tara said, “Let’s walk to our place and see if we can find some Euro coins.” I just thought to myself, “Well how can we find coins if we don´t have any?” On our way back to our flat Tara was talking with Him “Lord we don´t have coins and there isn´t a place near us to exchange paper money for coins, so I need your help, because YOU can give us what we need”…. and just when we came close to the flat someone was going out from the shared hall, looked at us and said “ Hello you’re coming in? Do you need something?” rsrsrs Oh the Lord!! Tara explained, and not only did the older gentleman give us the coins, he gave us more coins than the paper money Tara gave him!!! I was so shocked!! We just couldn’t stop praising Him!!! He also led us to an amazing place for dinner.
The next day began with a nice Irish breakfast and many exciting things we saw and experienced. What a lovely day we had, our first visit was to Molly Malone known as “The tart with the cart” 😉 (there are pictures on Instagram) and from there we just walked a few meters to Trinity College we were able to see the book of Kells.
It was our favorite place to visit in Dublin—seeing the Book of Kells, which consist of the 4 gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in written in Latin. I can´t describe how beautiful it was, unfortunately, it was forbidden to take pictures in the exhibition section. But I will add a link so you can have an idea of what we saw, you can check the pictures of Dublin on our Instagram 🙂
From Dublin, which is in the south of Ireland, we took a train north to Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is another country and part of the UK. We began using the British pound £ currency.
It’s honestly impossible to get tired of the views and the places that He is taking us.
First, on our bus tour, we went to the place where the Titanic was built. Belfast is also the place where C.S Lewis was from. If you are familiar with The Chronicles of Narnia, you need to check the pictures that we took in the C.S Lewis Square. Tara was able to recreate a picture in the same place that her mom, Erin, visited 12 years ago, a very sweet tribute to her mother. Be sure to check the pictures on our Instagram 🙂
Well, Brides, there are still so many things to share but it will be in the next PR.
Next stop is Scotland!! See you there!!!
Until next Friday!!
“As for you, O king, while on your bed your thoughts turned to what would take place in the future; and He who reveals mysteries has made known to you what will take place…” Daniel 2: 29-33
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
I hope that you’re just excited as I am for the Fridays LALTour PR 🙂 If you are curious about the places that He is taking us, follow us on Instagram!!
MINISTRY NOTE: Tara and Sara left Turkey, visited Athens, Greece!! (Acts 17:16) and flew up to Dublin, Ireland and then traveled north by train to Belfast, Ireland. Belfast is where Erin’s grandfather was born and immigrated from.
Tomorrow they will be crossing the Irish Sea by ferry and will stop in Glasgow before heading to Edinburgh, Scotland.
Then Sara & Tara will take the train down to London, England where they will be meeting at least 3 brides who’ve contacted us! One is Adele whose RMT you read last Saturday “Was I Sincere in the Apologies I Made to Him?” They are so excited to finally meet her!
Their first stop on the European continent is PARIS! That hadn’t even planned to go there, yet He lovingly orchestrated a meeting with two brides in Paris, France and also another bride (and former minister) in Vienna, Austria—and have already agreed to venture into Slovakia!! So excited to meet and spend time with Aimée!!
If there is ONE principle we repeat and follow it’s He LEADS ME…
Psalm 23: 1-3—
“The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He LEADS ME beside quiet waters. He restores my soul.”
Be sure to FOLLOW His brides:
If you’re one of His brides too— please consider meeting to fellowship with them along their Abundant Life Journey throughout Europe.
If you are excited to meet us, as excited as we are to meet YOU, please email:
We will let you know the exact dates and locations of where we will be and write back to connect.
