My Lovely Husband gave me two promises this month. But when I look at the circumstances all I can see is that my marriage is over and nothing has changed. In fact, everything seems like my EH made the right decision about us and he is happy. I’m happy too and living in peace, but it's just because I give myself, my dreams and my problems every day to my Lord and Savior.
I took today to be alone and to read some of RMI’s material and meditate in His word. It’s so quiet where I live and it’s a cold sunny day. The enemy tried to make me feel unhappy and doubt God’s promises, but I praise my Lord and Lovely Husband because He knows our heart and how the enemy will attack us. So He made me read, before the attack, some messages from HTBB "How to be Blessed", especially the one when Erin tells how the enemy attacked her after she memorized some verses and His promises became alive to her. Thanks, My Lord and Husband for protecting me. Thanks Erin for being so obedient!
The enemy told me exactly what he said to Erin: “Hey so this is how you'll prosper! You memorize Scripture and your husband divorces you!" My EH did not divorce me but, the same happened with Erin, this was my test of faith. Erin wrote in this message: “...and without a test, how can we have a testimony?”
That’s why I’m writing, to give you my testimony. I love to read His word and every time I’m alone in my home I read and meditate, hungry for His truth.
“but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.” Psalms 1:2-3
“Oh, that my ways may be established to observe and keep Your statutes [obediently accepting and honoring them]! Then I will not be ashamed when I look [with respect] to all Your commandments [as my guide]” Psalms 119:5-6
“I long for Your precepts; renew me through Your righteousness. May Your lovingkindness also come to me, o Lord, Your salvation according to Your promise; so I will have an answer for the one who taunts me, For I trust [completely] in Your word [and its reliability]. And do not take the word of truth utterly out of my mouth, for I wait for Your ordinances. I will keep Your law continually, forever and ever [writing Your precepts on my heart]. And I will walk at liberty, for I seek and deeply long for Your precepts. I will also speak of Your testimonies before kings And shall not be ashamed. For I shall delight in Your commandments, which I love. And I shall lift up my hands to Your commandments, which I love; and I will meditate on Your statutes.” Psalms 119:40-48
That's exactly what I'm doing, looking at the sky and I see no cloud. But, I want to have the same faith Elijah had. I want to be obedient like Elijah’s servant was. He went back toward the sea for seven times and, even when he did not see even a little cloud, he didn’t doubt, murmur and cry. I kept on trusting and being obedient. Today He gave me the strength to keep on going, trusting Him and honoring Him. All glory to Him, my Lovely Husband and Savior.
And Elijah said to Ahab, “Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” So Ahab went off to eat and drink, but Elijah climbed to the top of Carmel, bent down to the ground and put his face between his knees. “Go and look toward the sea,” he told his servant. And he went up and looked. “There is nothing there,” he said. Seven times Elijah said, “Go back.” The seventh time the servant reported, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.” So Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.’” 1 King 18:41-44 NIV
Ministry Note: On a Saturday 20 days ago I am sure you were blessed to read Valentina's RMT RESTORED EVEN AFTER THE HUSBAND MOVED TO ANOTHER COUNTRY.
For the next few weeks on Friday, you will have the opportunity to be blessed by Valentina's praise. As you may have remembered, we are so thankful she's back with us again. Once GOD restored her marriage, Valentina took an extended sabbatical soon after He called several others to take her place. What you didn't know is that Valentina was a blessing that overtook us!
Deuteronomy 28:2—“All these blessings will come upon you and OVERTAKE you if you obey the Lord your God.” voice “All of the following blessings will be yours—in fact, they’ll chase after you—if you’ll listen to what He tells you.”
What He told me [Erin] was to go into a Gmail we no longer use and search for the woman who actually translated the RYM book into Portuguese. While there I saw Valentina and He told me to write to her. When I did He told me to ask her about returning but I had no idea why. It was only later that I understood the blessing she needed—to help her through her new test for an even greater testimony!
But I also realized later that this blessing that overtook me, which means the blessing was waiting for me right when and where I needed it because God called Valentina back in order for her to step right into the position when Bianca felt called to step down.
