Restored Relationship and Healing!

I am blessed beyond my ability to comprehend!I am blessed beyond my ability to comprehend!
I have walked through heartache--but not alone! I have been convinced that my life was "ruined" via betrayal and divorce--but it was not ruined. I had been a stay-at-home mom for YEARS and was encouraged by everyone to panic about finances (except RMIEW), but I turned to my Heavenly Husband, and He has provided bountifully for me!

By not contesting, I believe my FH was led to provide adequately for me, AND my HH still has added on surprise amounts that enable me to help my grown children. Because I have the freedom to not be dependent upon a workplace location, I have been able to travel to help my kids.

Recently, my oldest daughter was expecting a baby. She had waited long to stay pregnant, but for some reason, she was extremely nauseated to the point of being non-functional. She had recently moved to a farm far away, and her soldier husband was being deployed. Our HH allowed me to travel to help her.

This daughter and I had a tough relationship over the years. We both were stubborn, and she valued independence above all. Like I used to be, she also liked to plan everything out, control all possibilities, and she had hoped for a totally natural birth. She did not think anyone needed to be there with her (before she became so ill.) Rather than argue with her, I have learned to pray. I kept my mouth shut, and soon she called asking for my help.

I'm a nurse; I found her in bad shape--dehydrated, not eating good food, miserable and becoming depressed. I was able to cook for her, make sure water was by her side at all times, and rather than preach about reading her Bible and praying, I simply did so quietly in the morning in her garden, where she would find me when she came down for breakfast. (This daughter had always been a Bible reader and loved God, but she had not learned to lean on Him. She was fighting it all in her own strength--and failing miserably.)

Soon, we spoke of what I was reading, what she had last read, etc... I gave thanks before meals, and she joined me. (I think she had just gotten sloppy about it, as is easy to do when living alone.) I began to pray for her and for her baby also before meals. Then, we were praying together for healing and for my daughter to lean on HIS strength.
Within a couple of weeks, she was immensely improved. Her health was better, also her attitude AND her actions...she started to express the realization that He was with her at all times. Soon she was energetic and able to be on her own. I was able to come home, AND she added to "her" plans that I would come be with her just before the baby was due. (She still had everything carefully planned out...including that her husband would arrive before the baby, and I would then be sent home.)

I’ll end this praise here; PRAISE HIM for improving her health and protecting her baby! Praise Him, as He was restoring our relationship. Praise Him, as He was reminding her of His presence and turning her toward Him. There is more to come…and that will follow in a second praise report. The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent. (Exodus 14:14 ESV)

Whoever keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps himself out of trouble. (Proverbs 21:23 ESV)
Way too often in my life, I have gone on and on, trying to explain to others, boring and shutting their ears to any wisdom. Instead, pray that He will speak to their hearts and make the changes necessary for them to also know!

Remember, Matthew 7:13-14 tells us to β€œEnter by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it. For the gate is small, and the way is narrow that leads to life, and few are those who find it.”

And Psalm 100:4 tells us HOW to Enterβ€” β€œEnter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name.”

Be sure to submit a Praise Report today and enter through that narrow gate few ever find!
