The Gentleman had a Huge Smile on his Face

Β The other day I was visiting my mom as she has been a little sick. I have a very close relationship with her since always and now that I have more time (lost my job almost a year ago and now I use my EH’s car to provide freelance transportation) my beloved HH has given me the opportunity to spend more time with her (she is a widow).

This journey has been transforming me day by day, it has not been easy because there is much to heal but God has been faithful to lead me to the places where I needed to be fed from. HE has told me to go one day at the time and I keep doing it.

I am the youngest child of two, my mother divorced my father while I was 5 years old and I got married when I was 32 years old. Unfortunately, I was not raised in a Christian family, only hearing from God very little, however, I always knew he exists and lives in our hearts. My older sister was married and she divorced her husband too. I am separated now but trusting and believing in God for a miracle in my marriage coming on HIS time.

Anyway, I am thankful for my beloved who has told me that this journey is not just about me but instead He is using me so my family can see His power, mercy and glory. PTL!!!

Back to the day I was visiting my mother, I heard a song coming from outside and I said to myself, wow this is praise music. I was so pleased to hear it so I got closer to the door while waiting for my mom to be ready. When we both got out I told her: β€œMom this is so nice, do you know that your neighbor has a praise song playing out loud? It really feels good as this is not something you hear very often nowadays. Have you met them?” The neighbors were washing their car and my mother called one of them. She introduced us and she told me: β€œNow, tell him what you just said to me.”

This gentleman had a huge smile on his face and he Praised The Lord when I told him that I was happy to hear his music. He said: β€œI owe everything to HIM and I will never be ashamed to praise Him.” The most amazing thing about this encounter was that my mother recognized that she is still learning to strengthen the faith in God and all this is due to the things she has learned from me! I just could not believe what I was listening from my mother, my mother!!!! I was speechless but in my mind, I thanked GOD once again because HE assured me at that moment that He is using this crisis in my marriage and life for my GOOD and my entire family’s Good.

Ephesians 5: 1-2 “Be, therefore, imitators of God as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave himself for us, offering and sacrifice to God, as a fragrant aroma.”

I feel so very blessed for how HE leads us on our lives journey and how much HE loves us no matter how sinner we are. I do feel very happy to know that He has chosen me as his Bride and I know He will complete what He has started. He has given me that promise and I believe HIM!!! Keep going, do not give up. This is a personal restoration journey, it is about us surrendering completely to the LORD, it is just amazing.

Acts 3:21 NIV “Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.”

This is one of the promises He has given me about restoration. I have taken it as my own.
