A Heart for Other Hurting Women

I never tire of listening to Atarah, with her lovely South African accent. But it’s her passion that I hear and read in each of her journals—primarily for evangelism and directly ministering to women that I most enjoy! I know it’s out of the ordinary, but I’d love for you to read what Atarah shared in our Morning GOOD NEWS. Each morning we use Telegram to send each of our a short video for our MTM “Ministry Team Members” that begins with a Promise, PRAISE and then keeping everyone aware of What’s New and daily instructional videos for training with our focus most recently on each MTM Social Media Ministries. Here is what Atarah shared in her PRAISE:

Dear Brides, I have been asking my Heavenly Husband is it time yet? Does he want me to share something He is busy doing which I’m really not sure about at this stage but it is very EXCITED!!

Since I started reading the Restore Your Marriage book it has always been my heart’s desire that many women come to know the truth and the principles that I have been taught here at RMI and then move on to become His Bride and live the Abundant life that my Love has so graciously given me.

Last year in September I met Keziah via FB on my BNN FB Profile. It turned out that she is a fellow South African woman. At that time I encouraged her to do the courses, but as she says she was looking for a quick fix and due to more trials she then started Course 1 this year, you can also read about it in her Praise Report that she wrote.

My Praise is that not only did Keziah start doing Course 1 but she also subscribed to the Encouraging Woman Daily Praise and our Heavenly Husband has done such wonders in her life and given her such peace regarding her situation which has led her to have the same heart for our fellow countrywoman to have the same!! The truly amazing thing is that I prayed that our Heavenly Husband would not only bring women that are hurting that I could encourage but women that have a heart for other hurting women.

Ephesians 3:20 The Message “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.”

It’s quite funny because I thought that Keziah was English but it turned out that in fact her first language is Afrikaans and already she was telling me about women in her community whom she would love to share the resources with but most specifically she was speaking about a Christian Radio Station in the City of Cape Town where she lives that she is in contact with due to community work that she does in the very poor parts of the city. She mentioned that during a specific radio program that airs once a week for women, that there are many women that call in with marital problems, seeking answers, seeking hope.

Later I received a letter from Keziah titled: “Growing the South African Ministry” where she shared her heart about wanting to share the ministry resources that have helped her so much. Since then we been prayerfully seeking our Heavenly Husband for His plan and purpose for South Africa and the amazing thing is it seemed that all of this is happening now that the Uiteindelikhoop site (Afrikaans site) is up and running and very recently the Bemoedigende Vroue (EW) FB page!!

Today I heard back from Keziah as she has had a Zoom Meeting with the Radio Host and shared with her, her Restoration Journey and the resources that have helped her as well as my Atarah Matthews Social Media links. One thing that has stood out very clearly is to wait on the Lord, to rest in Him so that His plan and purpose will prevail. 

Psalm 27:14 Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!

I do not know what is up ahead for our Afrikaans Ministry and the women of South Africa but I am sooo very glad for the work the ladies have done to translate the materials into Afrikaans and get it up onto the website!!!

I have been very prayerfully excited but I just want to Praise my Heavenly Husband for His orchestrations and this exciting glimpse into what HE wants to do because I know that He WILL DO FAR MORE than I could EVER dream, believe or desire!!!
