♕ Today's Promise: “So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him." Luke 15:20

I have been making it a habit for a while now that I found my HH (Heavenly Husband) to invite Him everywhere I go and to be with me in everything that I do. He comes along in the car rides to run errands, to visit my dad, on my evening walks, eating our meals and to the grocery store which is my favorite time with Him because I think about what He would like to eat also :).
So this week on a day I was going to pick up my dad's laundry to wash for him, I asked my HH (Heavenly Husband) to sit with me in the car as I drove us to my dad's house. I was a little discouraged that day and I kept driving not really "feeling" anything and then all of a sudden a song came on that is titled "Run to the Father". All of a sudden I was overcome by emotion and my eyes started to fill with tears. At that very moment I felt the love of my HF (Heavenly Father) so deep in my soul that I was filled with so much emotion. My HF wanted to meet with me that day to show me that He is there too! I felt His presence so much and I began to praise and sing to Him.
I thought it to be interesting because also this week in the fellowship for Living the Abundant Life that I am a part of, we are in chapter 1 "Could This Be His Plan?". In the lesson Michele describes the difference between our HF (Heavenly Father) and our HH (Heavenly Husband). Yes there is 2 of them :). Our HF loved us so much that He gave us His Son to be our HH. I confess that now that I have been taught so much about my HH that I don't run to my HF as often as I should. I believe with the song He was reminding me to run to Him also because I am in need of Him too and sometimes I just want to be his "little girl"! He has blessed me with a very loving earthly father also and I thank Him many times for that but He is my first Father and He's there waiting for me!
Thank you my loving and caring HF (Heavenly Father) for showing me that You are right there also and that You are just waiting for me to run to You with arms wide open to embrace me in Your love and carry me along. I love You so much!
