Ladies, I have another Praise Report today. All 4 of our sons have been in sports since they were 4 years old and all have been wrestlers since they were 4 years old. They are all very athletic, muscular and tower over me. Our youngest sons are now in high school. They all played football when they were younger but these 2 have not played for about 3 years and they just focused on wrestling.

Our 4th and youngest son had decided to join the football team. Which I thought was a great idea and would teach them once again teamwork and how to work together with others, as wrestling is an individual sport that they did very well at. And I thought it would be fun for them. Our youngest son is in his second year of high school and he was accepted to be on the varsity team (which is the highest team with the older boys) he was so happy. Our 3rd son was not planning to join but I thought the teamwork and fun would really benefit him since he is more of a work alone type of person. I prayed about it and gave my feelings to My Love and asked that His Will be done. Whatever He wants for them is best. Then one day he decided to join the team! So now they are on the same team together! I was so happy! This will be such good memories for them that they will cherish forever as this is our 3rd sons last year of high school and the boys last year going to school together.

Now our 3rd and older son was getting more playing time, which is good for him but our younger son that joined first was not playing and in fact started to not play in some games at all. It was really bringing him down. I encouraged him and spoke to him about praying about it, being patient and humble. I spoke to My Love about it and said I believe this is doing damage to his heart instead of good. But I know that He knew what He was doing and He works everything out for our good.

Well Ladies, this is what happened. In my journey I am working on showing others what My Love has done in my heart and also leading them to My Lord. I have started reading His Word with the children in the mornings. I explained just the other day that if we put God first in our heart, in our day and in our life then He is faithful to put us first too and is able to bless us and give us the life He meant for us to have. And when we do face trials He is ever so close to us and gets us through anything. He wants what’s good for us and will work difficult times for our good.

Our youngest son asked a lot of questions during our reading. He really wanted to know what the Lord says about certain things in life. I was so happy to see him turn to His Word for the answers to his questions. He said he really liked reading the Bible at home instead of going to church. Then the next day he came home and the first thing he said was that the coach said he was starting in the next game. This means he will be the first in line to play! The 2 boys that were above him were taken out of that spot and moved and he was up first now!

My Love is so good and faithful!! I am happy for my son getting to play like he wanted but most of all I am so thankful that He showed Himself to our children. He continues to protect them in times they didn’t even know about, He continues to show them His love and works in their lives!! I made sure to let the boys know that we must give Him all the Glory. If we put Him first He will put us first. And how obvious is this example? Our son is now first to play. He gave Him what his heart desires!! He hears us, is apart of every conversation we have. He showed them that this is True, in a way the children will understand. I love that our children can see how amazing My Love really is!!!

"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" Isaiah 30:18

"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33

"In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." Proverbs 3:6
