Beloved, once the walls were up, but before the doors and gates were in place, the enemy came to distract the builder. So often, we are determined to do this great work but fail to see this enemy tactic.
Beloved, do you yearn for the joy that will be yours when the Lord brings all of His promises to pass? When your miracle stands before you?
Beloved, has the Lord delivered you from bondage in order to bring you into a new land? Has He, in His wisdom and knowledge of the future, brought you by way of the desert? What are your thoughts?
Beloved, is your heart completely His? For the eyes of our precious Lord are looking to lend support to those, only those, whose heart is completely His.
Beloved, is this the truth of your heart? Have you come to the pure understanding in your deepest desires that “there is no one besides” the Lord?
Beloved, though your mind dreams of the day when you will stand prize in hand, let not this be your mindset alone.
Today, look for the souls who, too, hold pain, fear, and loneliness in their hearts as they struggle through another day.
