Dear Brides, I encourage you to take every principle in this chapter, "First to Throw the Stone," seriously and hide it deep in your heart. It will transform your life and free you from all your pain. Your Heavenly Husband is ready to heal every area of your life.

This chapter has so many important principles that have greatly impacted my life. When I felt my Heavenly Husband's forgiveness, I was completely transformed. I realized how I must forgive others in the same way and it was so powerful to do so. As I was able to lay each person that has wronged me at His feet, I began to be free and it is true what the book says, "it is then that the Lord is FREE to relieve you of your pain and heal the wounds."

When we have been forgiven, then we can easily forgive because He came to save us through His love and not to judge us. AMEN to that. Through my journey I have learned to TRUST in Him alone and depend on Him to fulfill all my needs. Seek Him at all times. He never fails to fill me with His love for others and compassion so that I do not judge. At times it's hard, but He is faithful to renew my strength.

I want to share an experience I had about confessing a sin to my earthly husband. While we were separated and before I came to RMI, I had been intimate with someone else. After coming to RMI and being transformed by His love, I was given the desire to restore my marriage. At that time my earthly husband started another relationship with another woman, but we were still together.

Each step, each day my Heavenly Husband brought to my attention something in my life, a certain area, He wanted to heal or transform. Well, after many attempts of my earthly husband asking or telling me he thought I had cheated on him, I always denied it. In my mind, since we were separated, and I thought at that time we were NOT getting together anymore, I did nothing wrong.

"This is the way of an adulterous woman: She eats and wipes her mouth and says, 'I've done nothing wrong.'" Proverbs 30:20 (NIV)

That was my first excuse. Then as I continued on my Restoration Journey, I started to feel shame and condemnation. Thinking, how can I possibly let my earthly husband know about this, I am a horrible person. (considering I was always portrayed as the "good" wife). Then fear entered, I thought if I was to tell my earthly husband, that would REALLY be the end of my marriage that was holding on to a super thin thread.

The beauty is the love and kindness our Heavenly Husband that comes to us so we CAN be transformed and healed from our past. He started touching my heart to trust HIM and He would take care of everything. Talk about a HUGE leap of faith!!!

One day as we visited my earthly husband's family in New York. We were in our guestroom and out of nowhere, he asked again if I had been intimate with that particular someone he knew I had spent time with. Before I could even think of what to say, I felt the jump of the Holy Spirit and all I could say was YES!! Then the rest just flowed from my heart and I just knew my Heavenly Husband was there every step of the way. So when I finished, I just held my breath...(what was going to happen next????) The most amazing thing happened!!

My earthly husband said, "I really want to be angry with you right now, I really do, but for some reason I can't, I don't know why, but I can't." I just stayed quiet with nothing else to say, but instead of destruction, I know my Heavenly Husband brought healing and freedom for both us to forgive. It was so powerful and it was NEVER brought up again.

Love never fails and I am so blessed I have been able to renew my mind to His truth about loving unconditionally. The complete opposite is what the world wants to teach us, but His love that flows through us so we can give to others is what will free our loved ones from the sins that binds them. Love and compassion turns the hearts away from sin, and this I have learned on how my Heavenly Husband has allured me with His love and although I am far from perfect, my desire is to please Him and be obedient to His word.

I pray that You always allow me to see that it is a spiritual battle and not to fight in the flesh. I must release anyone who offends me through forgiveness so that I do not live in burden and they can feel the full effects of their sin. Help to always do my part so I am Yours and You are free to work in me Your will.

My Love, As this chapter says, nothing can fulfill our emptiness but YOU because you created LOVE and I can only be filled by YOU. You are the lover of my soul and bring the true JOY I desire. May my desire be to always pursue You and run to You for all things, knowing there is nothing impossible for You. You are my protector and my trust is in You.

Dear Brides, Pursue the Lord with no fear. He wants the absolute best for you and He is ready with open arms to fulfill every need and desire of your heart. He wants to be your protector and healer. Like the book says, "RUN after GOD and then the godly men will run after you."

"Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy." Proverbs 28:13 (NIV)

"This is what the Lord says: β€œCursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord. That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes."" Jeremiah 17:5-7 (NIV)
