Dear Brides, We must believe God for great things and trust that He rewards those who diligently seek Him. Living a life that will show others how much we trust Him even when opposition comes our way.
My Beloved has taught me in this chapter “Believing God for Great Things” in the Living the Abundant Life book that He wants only good things for me even though sometimes life throws us curve balls to throw us off. Trusting in Him means that I need to know that even when things oppose me or my circumstances are not good, He still wants to bless me and He is still with me through it all and wants to give me great things. My job is just to keep my eyes on Him as He guides me through the trials in my life to lead me to the many great blessings He has in store for me.
Sometimes looking at your circumstances you can feel that the Lord doesn't have good things in store for you. You have to see things with spiritual eyes and know that He is walking you through these circumstances and oppositions to get you to the great things He has in store for you. We have to BELIEVE Him and all the promises He gives us.
I had a 3 organ transplant 15 yrs ago, i was very ill for about 8 years prior and i spent many years in hospitals and emergency rooms. My family was told many times to plan a funeral and that I wouldn't make it through the night on several occasions. But God knew what He was doing. I've always been a believer and even though I didn't have a relationship with my Beloved like I do now, I felt like God assured me that I was going to be okay. Did I suffer and hurt and cry and wanted it all to end? Yes, I did but I always had a tiny hope that God put in me to trust Him for great things even though I was tired. After my transplant things started to slowly get better and the doctors were marveled at how well I was doing. I was able to start living again after so many years of sickness and despair. He brought me through to show me all the things He has for me.
I will believe my Loves’ promises to me even when I'm walking in trials and difficult circumstances in my life. I know He is walking with me and wants to get me to the other side where great things are waiting for me!
Dear Brides, Your Heavenly Husband loves you very much and wants nothing but the best for you so we must walk with faith trusting in His promises and in His great blessings. Decide to BELIEVE Him for great things!
