My Beloved Child
Devotional for Children and Teens
and the unhealed child in you.

December 1

“I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come?” (Ps. 121:1).

Beloved, where do you turn for help? Do you still turn toward a friend to help? If your eyes look anywhere but up, you are missing the help that can truly change you. This Psalmist is saying that he will only look up, for his redemption comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Where else would true help come from if not from the Lord his God?

Beloved, where is your help going to come from today? Will it come from a friend whom you have gone to for encouragement? Will it come from family who will help you with your finances? Will it be the person at work who hears all that is happening and what is heavy on your heart? Beloved, lift up your eyes to the hill—from there alone will your help come!

🎈 December 1

“I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from?” (Psalm 121:1).

Beloved child, where do you look for help? Are you still looking for a friend to help? If your eyes look anywhere but up, you are missing the help that can truly rescue you. This Psalmist is saying that he will only look up because his help comes from God alone, the One who made heaven and earth. Where else would true help come from if not from Him?

Beloved child, where is your help going to come from today? Who promises to always be there for you? Beloved child, lift up your eyes toward the mountains—from there alone is He who is on His way to help!

December 2

“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” (Ps. 121:2).

Beloved, your God is the God of the whole universe! The Maker of heaven and earth! Is there anything too great for Him to do? No! Live in ignorance no longer. Your help will come from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth! For us to look or yearn for help from anyone else is foolishness!

Beloved, do you fret when you cannot reach your friend by phone? Or when you do not get a reply from the email you sent a couple of days ago? Oh, Beloved, all your help is in the Lord! And once your heart is fixed on this hope, then your life will no longer be the same! No longer will your days be lived on the roller coaster of your emotions, because our God is the Rock! He will rescue you from the miry clay and set your feet upon this rock, making your footsteps firm. And He will put a new song in your mouth, yes, a song of praise to our God. Many, many will see it and worship the Lord—hallelujah!

🎈 December 2

“My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” (Psalm 121:2).

Beloved child, your God is the God of the whole universe! The Creator of heaven and earth! Is there anything too great for Him to do? No! Your help will always come from the Lord, who made the heavens and the earth! For us to look or yearn for help from anyone else is foolishness!

Beloved child, do you panic when you cannot reach your friend by phone? Oh, Beloved child, all your help is in the Lord! And once your heart is fixed on this hope, then your life will no longer be the same! No longer will your days be lived on the roller coaster of your emotions because your God is the Rock!

December 3

“He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber” (Ps. 121:3).

Beloved, the Lord will be there for you. He will not allow your foot to slip when your trust is in Him. When you see those who fall at your right and left hand, it will not befall you when your hope is in Him. This is our hope—that He will keep us under the shadow of His wings when we call on His name!

Beloved, if the Lord is silent, it is not because He is unaware or sleeping. It is God’s way to allow things to come to a climax in order to destroy wickedness. We, who are His children and the sheep of His pasture, are to stay close to Him when there is turmoil and then we must wait until He destroys the wickedness that surrounds us. And while we wait, we rejoice and rest. We are like little children who have such faith that they can play inside without a care in the world while the storm rages outside. This is faith in action. This is the outcome of the heart that safely trusts in Him!

🎈 December 3

“He holds you firmly in place; He will not let you fall. He who keeps you will never take His eyes off you and never drift off to sleep.” (Psalm 121:3).

Beloved child, the Lord promises to be there for you—never taking His eyes off of you, not for a second—not even to sleep! He promises He’ll never allow your foot to slip when your trust is in Him.

Beloved child, when you see those who fall at your right and left, He also promises nothing like that will happen to you when your hope is in Him. This is our hope—that He will keep us under the shadow of His wings when we call out His name!

December 4

“Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep” (Ps. 121:4).

Beloved, He who keeps you neither slumbers nor sleeps. He is there making intercession for you because He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He will guard your going out and coming in. He has sent His angels to surround you, to bear you up in their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone.

Beloved, because you have called upon the name of the Lord, because you have sought Him with all your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength, therefore He will answer you and redeem your soul from the pit of destruction and despair. Rest in Him; wait patiently for Him. Beloved, I know that I would have despaired had I not truly believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Beloved, wait for the Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage—yes, wait for the Lord!!

🎈 December 4

“Indeed, He who watches over Israel never rests or sleeps.” (Psalm 121:4).

Beloved child, the One who watches over Israel, never rests or sleeps. He is wide awake, watching over you. He promises to guard your going out and coming in. He even sent His angels to surround you, to bear you up in their arms, so you don’t even strike your foot against a stone.

Beloved child, you have called upon the name of the Lord because you love Him with all your heart, your soul, your mind, and your strength. Rest in Him; wait patiently for Him. Beloved child, I know that I would have been broken-hearted if I didn’t truly believe that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Oh, beloved child, wait for the Lord, be strong, and let your heart take courage—yes, wait for the Lord!!

December 5

“The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand” (Ps. 121:5).

Beloved, the Lord will keep you. He is your Shepherd; therefore, He will guide you and surround you with a shield of protection. Why do you fear? You are surrounded by the Lord’s favor. He delights in you! You are called by His name! Tell Him that He is good. Tell Him that He is full of lovingkindness, and you will begin to experience the goodness and lovingkindness of the Lord!

Beloved, the Lord is the shade that protects you on your right hand. He is the voice that you hear behind you saying, “This is the way, walk in it” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. So why do you continue to fear, O you of little faith? Remember, that when you lack faith it changes the spiritual conditions that attracts miracles. Fear opposes faith. So today, build yourself up in your faith. Remember and meditate on all that He has done. Write it down and read it every day. Beloved, the Lord is good and worthy to be praised—hallelujah!!

🎈 December 5

“The Lord is your Protector; the Lord is the shade at your right hand.” (Psalm 121:5).

Beloved child, the Lord is also your Protector. He is your Shepherd to guide you and surround you with protection and shade you from all that is evil. Never fear. You are surrounded by the Lord’s favor. He delights in you! You are called by His name! Tell Him that He is good and full of love and kindness so you will experience all the goodness the Lord has for you.

Beloved child, the Lord is the shade that protects you and the voice you hear behind you saying, “This is the way. Walk this way” each time you turn to the right or to the left. Remember to meditate and recite all that He has done. Take notes and read your ever-growing list every day. Beloved child, the Lord is good!!

December 6

“The sun will not smite you by day, nor the moon by night” (Ps. 121:6).

Beloved, the sun will not smite you during the day, nor will the moon smite you by night. Light and darkness is the same to God. Where can you go from the Spirit of God? Or where can you possibly hide from His presence? The night is bright as day to the Lord; therefore, do not be afraid when the darkness surrounds you. The Lord has covered your head in the day of battle.

Beloved, when you cried to the Lord with a loud voice, He heard you. Pour out your heart to the Lord. Tell Him that He alone is your refuge and fortress and your deliverer. For in His faithfulness you will soon sing for joy over His salvation. So why wait? Begin to praise Him now for His faithfulness, for His goodness, and tell Him right now how much you love Him—that He is everything you want and everything you need.

🎈 December 6

“Neither bright light of the sun nor dim light of the moon will harm you.” (Psalm 121:6).

Beloved child, the bright light of the sun and the dim light of the moon will never harm you. Light and darkness are the same to God. Where can you go? Where can you possibly hide from His presence? The night is bright as day to the Lord that’s why you never need to be afraid when the darkness surrounds you.

Beloved child, whenever you cry to the Lord, He hears you. Pour out all your thoughts to the Lord. Tell Him that He alone is everything you want and everything you need. Day or night, He is everything to you!

December 7

“The Lord will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul” (Ps. 121:7).

Beloved, the Lord promises to protect you from all evil; therefore we need not fear. Though it seems that everything is against you, though it seems that bad things surround you, if you could comprehend and embrace this promise, you would feel the peace that passes all understanding.

Beloved, we must meditate and speak this promise until it is hidden deep in our soul. The Lord has promised to protect you and me from all evil, and that He will keep or protect our very soul! With this promise treasured in our hearts, we will no longer be plagued with fear or doubt. We will no longer be overwhelmed when everything is coming against us. We will no longer doubt His other promises of restoring us and turning our loved-one’s heart back to us. Throughout the day, meditate on this promise. God is not a God that He can lie. Hallelujah!

🎈 December 7

“The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life from harm.” (Psalm 121:7).

Beloved child, the Lord promises to protect you from all evil, so you never need to fear. Even when it feels like everything and everyone is against you, He promises you, as His child, the peace that passes all understanding.

Beloved child, meditate and speak every one of His promises until each is hidden deep in our soul. The Lord has promised to protect you, and with this treasured promise, you can say goodbye to both fear and doubt. Throughout the day, meditate on this promise. As God, He cannot lie and every promise He says He will do!

December 8

“The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever” (Ps. 121:8).

Beloved, the Lord will guard you each and every time you feel vulnerable, for He is your rear guard. When you are going out or coming in, He is there! This is an awesome promise and picture of His love and protection for us, the sheep of His pasture! Yet, even with this promise, we worry. Even though we have read this, and believed it in our minds, we doubt that He will be there or that what is coming against us will be too strong for Him.

Beloved, we must not doubt. For to doubt is like someone who is tossed to and fro, like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Or like someone who stands right on the shore where the waves are crashing—standing on the edge of the sand, wanting to step into the water, but too afraid to really trust God enough to wade deep enough in the water to avoid the turmoil of the crashing waves. Beloved, we must trust God and take Him at His Word. It is by faith that we believe and all promises are fulfilled. Without faith it is impossible to please Him, for we must believe that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

🎈 December 8

“The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from this moment in time and forever.” (Psalm 121:8).

Beloved child, the Lord is guarding you each and every time you may feel vulnerable. He says He is your rear guard. We are the sheep of His pasture! Yet, even with this promise, do you worry?

Beloved child, we should never doubt because doubting is like standing under crashing waves that toss us back and forth. Are you standing on the edge of the sand, wanting to step into the water? Are you too afraid to really trust God enough to go deeper into the water because of your fear? Beloved child, without faith, it is impossible to please our Father. We must believe He rewards those of us who continually reach out to Him and embrace His love.

December 9

“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord” (Ps. 122:1).

Beloved, do you dwell in the presence of God? Do you long and yearn for time with Him? Do you enter into His presence by opening the gates through your thankfulness and praise? This is the way to enter into His presence. This is what opens the gates so that you can stand before the great King. Or are you afraid to enter in? Do you believe that the Lord is angry with you?

Beloved, the Lord is the God of forgiveness. This wonderful attribute originated with Him. He is forgiveness. How can we forget how He sent His only Son, whom He loved, to suffer and die for you and me while we were still sinners? Why do we choose to believe the enemy when he fills our minds with the lie that we are unworthy to receive the Lord’s grace and mercy? The truth is that none of us deserve anything, but God in His mercy and lovingkindness loves us! He longs for our companionship! If you have grieved Him, repent and accept His forgiveness. Never let anything keep you from Him.

🎈December 9

“I was glad when they said to me, “Let us go to the house of the Lord.” (Psalm 122:1).

Beloved child, do you live in the presence of God? Do you long and get excited to spend time with Him? Or are you afraid to approach Him, believing the lie that the Lord is angry with you?

Beloved child, the Lord is the God of forgiveness. This wonderful quality began from Him. He is forgiveness. How can we forget how He sent His only Son, whom He loved, to suffer and die for you and me while we were still sinners? So why do you believe the enemy when he fills your mind with the lie that you are unworthy to receive the Lord’s grace and mercy? None of us deserves anything, but God loves us! Go to Him, repent, and accept His forgiveness. Never let anything keep you from Him.

December 10

“To You I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens!” (Ps. 123.1).

Beloved, look up, for your redemption from all the pain and rejection is drawing closer. Look up and see that the Lord is good and His lovingkindness is everlasting to all those who fear Him. Beloved, has He put a new song in your mouth, a song of praise to our God? Then sing it! Sing it to those who need to know that the Lord is good and that His love toward them is everlasting!

Beloved, the Lord sits in the heavens to make intercession for us, so why do we sometimes allow fear to rob us of our joy? It is the tactic of the enemy to steal the praise that belongs to our God and to fill us with doubts. But while there is a breath left in me, I will lift up the name of the Lord our God. His praise shall continually be on my lips. I shall tell the world what He has done for my soul. What has He done for you, sweet beloved of the Lord? Proclaim it today. Hallelujah!!

🎈December 10

“I raise my eyes, I have fixed my gaze on You, for Your throne resides in the heavens.” (Psalm 123.1).

Beloved child, look up and see that the Lord is good, and His love, His kindness are forever for all those who are near to Him. Beloved child, has He put a new song in your mouth, a song of praise to our God? Then sing it because the Lord is good and because His love toward the lost is everlasting!

Beloved child, the Lord sits in the heavens as an Ambassador for us, so why allow fear to rob you of your joy? It is the scheme of the enemy to steal praise that belongs to our God, to fill us with doubt. Say with me, His praise shall continually be on my lips, and I will tell the world what He has done for me!!

December 11

“To You, O Lord, I lift up my soul” (Ps. 25:1).

Beloved, let us lift up our soul to the Lord our God. When reproach entered my heart to the point  that I was sick, it was He who led me beside the still waters. It was He who made me lie down in the sweet green pastures. It was the Lord who restored my soul. Is your soul and spirit downcast, dear Beloved? Lift up your soul to the Lord; let it rest in Him.

Beloved, I truly would have despaired and given up had I not altogether believed that someday I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Therefore, Beloved, wait for the Lord, be strong, and let (allow) your heart take courage, since your help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He who keeps you will never slumber nor sleep. He will guard your going out and coming in from this time forth, yes, and forever! Hallelujah!!

🎈December 11

“O Lord, I give my life to you.” (Psalm 25:1).

Beloved child, give everything to Him. When you do, He will make you lie down in the sweet green pastures while He restores your soul. Let your concerns all rest with Him.

Beloved child, I truly would have given up had I not believed that someday I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Therefore, Beloved child, please wait for the Lord, be strong, and allow your heart to take courage. He who watches over you never rests or sleeps. He is guarding your going out and coming in from now until forever!

December 12

“O my God, in You I trust, do not let me be ashamed; do not let my enemies exult over me” (Ps. 25:2).

Beloved, how often the fear of being ashamed has tried to consume me. But the Lord has promised us over and over in His precious Psalms that we will not be put to shame when our hope is in Him, that we will not be disappointed when we have waited in silence for God only—for Beloved, our hope is in Him!

Beloved, though a host or an army surrounds you, you can still hope in God. Hide in the shadow of His wings and sing praises to the Holy One. For He has seen your weeping—He has kept every one of your tears in a bottle. For He has given His angels charge concerning you, that you will neither stumble nor slip. For He has held you with His right hand. Rest in Him, Beloved, for what He has promised He is able to perform. Thank You, dear, sweet Jesus.

🎈December 12

“My God, I trust in You. Please do not let me be humiliated; do not let my enemies celebrate at my expense.” (Psalm 25:2).

Beloved child, how often we fear we will be put to shame. Yet, the Lord has promised us over and over in the book of Psalms that we will not be humiliated because our hope is in Him!

Beloved child, even when an army surrounds you, hope in God. Hide under the shadow of His wings and sing praises to Him. He has seen your weeping—He has kept each one of your tears in a bottle. He has given His angels to watch over you. He holds you up with His right hand. Rest in Him, Beloved child, for what He has promised He is more able to do for you.

December 13

“Indeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed” (Ps. 25:3).

Beloved, this is His promise that none—that means not one, that means not you and not I—will be ashamed. Not if we wait for Him. But, oh Beloved, how often have we gotten ahead of God, trying to make things happen when we tire of waiting? How many times must we birth an Ishmael (trying to fulfill His promise ourselves) who soon mocks our Isaac, our promise? It is in our Ishmaels that causes us shame, but not when we wait for Him to bring our promise!

Beloved, when you become anxious, say to your soul, “Wait in silence for God only, for from Him is my salvation.” Lift up your voice in the sanctuary and bless the Lord. Tell Him of His faithfulness. Tell Him of His goodness. Remind yourself of and praise Him for all that He has done for you in the past, how He has totally transformed your life and made you hope again. With this kind of praise, your soul will settle down and prevent you from being tempted of the enemy to run ahead of the Lord. Beloved, rest in Him.

🎈December 13

“Certainly none of the people who rely on You will be shamed, but those who are unfaithful, who intentionally deceive, they are the ones who will be disgraced.” (Psalm 25:3).

Beloved child, His promise states that none—that means not one, not you and not me—will be ashamed. Don’t get ahead of God by trying to make things happen; don’t birth an Ishmael by trying to fulfill God’s promise. When we do, it will mock our Isaac, our promise. It’s our Ishmaels that cause us shame, but never when we wait for Him to bring our promise!

Beloved child, when you become anxious, say to yourself, “Wait quietly for God only. Only in Him is my Savior.” Lift up your voice and bless the Lord. Tell Him how faithfulness He is. Tell Him how good He is. Beloved child, rest in Him.

December 14

“Make me know Your ways, O Lord; teach me Your paths” (Ps. 25:4).

Beloved, let the Lord be your teacher; let Him teach you the way you should walk. It is the voice that you hear behind you saying, “Yes, this is the way” when you turn to the left and turn to the right. He will guard all your going out and coming in from this time forth and forever when your hope is in Him.

Beloved, meditate on His Word. Think of it when you lie down at night. Remember it when you go about your day. For you will be a luscious tree, firmly planted by streams of water, and your leaves will be green—and in whatever you do, He promises that you will prosper in it. This is for those whose minds are stayed on Him and on His Word. Fill your mind up today with His Word. Nibble on His Word throughout the day. Feast on it tonight before going to sleep and your sleep will be sweet when you lay your head upon your pillow. Rest and wait for Him.

🎈December 14

“Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow.” (Psalm 25:4).

Beloved child, let the Lord be Who you follow, showing you which way to walk. Listen to His voice that’s behind you saying, “Yes, this is the way,” as you turn left or right. He will point the right path and guard you as you are coming in or going out from now until forever because your hope is in Him.

Beloved child, meditate on His Word. Do it when you lie down at night. Remember His Word when you wake and all through your day. When you do, your tree is firmly planted by streams of water, and your leaves will always be green—and in everything you do, He promises that you will prosper. Nibble on His Promises throughout the day and feast on them tonight before going to sleep so your sleep will be sweet as you lay your head upon your pillow. Rest and wait for Him.

December 15

“Lead me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; for You I wait all the day” (Ps. 25:5).

Thy Word, oh Lord, have I treasured in my heart. Teach me Your everlasting way. Teach me to walk in Your precepts. Help me to keep Your commandments that I may not sin against You. How can any one of us keep herself pure? By keeping in accordance with the Word of the Lord.

Beloved, can you say that it was good that you were afflicted because now you keep the ways of the Lord? Beloved, it was in the Lord’s faithfulness that you were afflicted so that you could learn the goodness and lovingkindness of the Lord. Like all of us, you lived your life in a way that was not pleasing to the Lord, but because we are sons and daughters, He disciplined us so we would not remain that way. This valley of the shadow of death is not the place we will stay, but soon, oh so soon, we will be singing from the very peak of the mountain top with a shout of victory!! Hallelujah!

🎈December 15

“Ease me down the path of Your truth. Feed me Your Word. You are the True God who has saved me. I wait all day long, hoping, trusting in You.” (Psalm 25:5).

Beloved child, it was in the Lord’s faithfulness that you were troubled so that you would feed on His Word. This valley of the shadow of death is not the place He wants you to stay. He will save you as you wait, hoping and trusting in Him.

Beloved child, ease along down the path of His truth. Feed from the richness of His Word. He alone will be there for you as you continue to wait, hope, and fully trust Him.

December 16

“Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, for they have been from of old” (Ps. 25:6).

Beloved, let us seek Him for His compassion toward us and for His infinite lovingkindness that surrounds us like a shield. Let us never forget His kindness toward us, but instead remember it, meditate on it, and rehearse it in our minds continually. This is what will keep us seeking His face. “Oh Lord, Thy face I shall seek!”

Beloved, who is the Lord but our God? It is He who will tread down our adversaries. He is our help in the time of trouble. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good, that His mercies endure forever on those who fear Him. Lift up your hands and bless the Lord!

🎈December 16

“Please, LORD, remember, You have always been patient and kind.” (Psalm 25:6).

Beloved child, never forget His love and kindness are what surround you like a shield. Never forget His kindness toward you, and remember each time He’s been patient. Meditate on this, and rehearse it in your mind continually.

Beloved child, who is the Lord but our God? It is He who will trample down our enemies. He is our help in times of trouble. Many are the difficulties of the righteous, but that’s so the Lord can deliver us out of them all. Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good. His mercies endure forever for those who are near to Him!

December 17

“I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; but now my eye sees You” (Job 42:5).

Beloved, how blessed are those who are pure in heart, for they shall see God. Oh, to be blameless like God’s servant Job, who proclaimed “Blessed be the name of the Lord!” when told that everything he had was taken away from him! This is the pure heart that will see God!

Beloved, it is by His Word that we build our faith to be like God’s servant Job, “for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Beloved, spend time every day reading aloud His precious promises. Let your ear hear the goodness of the Lord so that it will sink deep into your heart. Remove all roots of bitterness that will eventually choke that Word—forgive so that God will forgive you. Let us all seek His face, not His hand, and all else will be added unto us. Hallelujah!!

🎈December 17

“I had only heard about You before, but now I have seen You with my very own eyes.” (Job 42:5).

Beloved child, how blessed are we when we are pure in heart, because we will see God. Oh, imagine being so blameless like God’s servant Job, who shouted, “Blessed be the name of the Lord!” when everything and everyone was taken from him! This is the pure in heart who will see God!

Beloved child, remember, “our faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” Beloved child, spend enough time every day reading His precious promises so they will sink deep into your heart. Ask God to remove all roots of bitterness that choke His Word—forgive so that God will forgive you. Let us all look at His face, not desiring His hand, so everything else will be added unto us. Celebrate!!

December 18

“But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night” (Ps. 1:2).

Beloved, where is your delight? Is it in eating, shopping, entertainment? What do you think of and meditate on throughout the day? Is it on your troubles? Do you spend time worrying? Or do you daydream about what your wayward loved-one is doing? Beloved, for you to prosper in all that you do, your mind and heart must be fixed upon the Lord and His Word. And this will only happen when His Word becomes your delight and you consume a daily portion every day.

Beloved, do not waste your time and energy on things that will result in your want and despair. Instead, invest in your future. Invest in your restoration. God says to number our days because the days are evil. Once today is spent, you cannot get it back. And the more that you drink the Word of the Lord, the more you will thirst for it! It is His Word that will transform you, heal you, guide you, comfort you, and deliver you from all your distresses.

🎈December 18

“But it's they who delight in the law of the Lord, meditating on it day and night.” (Psalm 1:2).

Beloved child, where is your delight? Is your delight in having fun, eating, shopping, and being entertained? What do you think about and meditate on throughout the day? Is it focused on your troubles? Do you spend time worrying?

Beloved child, daydream about and fix your mind and heart on the Lord and His Word. Make His Word your delight, and consume a huge portion every day. His Word will transform you, heal you, guide you, comfort you, and deliver you from all your distresses. Delight in Him.

December 19

“And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers” (Ps. 1:3).

Beloved, where are you planted? Where do your roots extend? Are you firmly planted by the living water of His Word and His love? Where do you get your water source? Is it the pure water of His Word? Is the water of His Word washing you daily? Or do you drink from the polluted waters of the world through television, movies, and reading material not fit for His children?

Beloved, if you want the fruit of a restored relationship, if you want to endure to the end of your trial so that you do not wither, then you will need to seek the Lord and His Word with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. You cannot run the race of this narrow road by consuming the junk food of this world, exposing your mind to the news, and daily goings on of a sick and dying world and expect to make live. Today and throughout this week, feast on His Word and stay in your prayer closet talking to Him. Then, in whatever you do, you will prosper! Amen!!

🎈December 19

“You are like a tree, planted by flowing, cool streams of water that never run dry. Your fruit ripens in its time; your leaves never fade or curl in the summer sun. No matter what you do, you prosper.” (Psalm 1:3).

Beloved child, where are you planted? Are you firmly planted by the living water of His Word and His love? Where do you get your water source? Is it the pure water of His Word? Is the water of His Word washing you daily? Do not drink from the polluted waters of the world on your devices that are not fit for His children.

Beloved child, be sure you do not drink from the polluted waters of the world on your devices that are not fit for His children. You cannot run the race along this narrow road by feeding on the junk food of this world, exposing your mind to what feeds the sick and dying world, and expecting to live happily. Today and throughout this week, feast on His Word so that in whatever you do, you will prosper!

December 20

“For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish” (Ps. 1:6).

Beloved, the Lord knows the way in which you should walk. Are you acknowledging Him so that He can direct your paths? Or are you leaning unto your own understanding, are you going your own way, the way to destruction? The path that leads to destruction is wide; even those that are seeking restoration have trampled down a new and wide path that does not really lead to restoration, but leads nowhere.

Beloved, the path toward restoration is that of seeking God and His Word, making Him your lover and friend. It is consuming His Word in large quantities so that His precepts for living (not just for restoration) will replace and renew what is now in your mind and heart. The wide path that too many seek for restoration is believing that there is a shortcut—there is not. It isn’t in the believing or proclaiming future restoration—it is the transformation of the heart through obedience to His Word. Seek the Lord this morning and ask Him to reveal to you which path you are traveling and, if necessary, change course through the principle of seeking His face.

🎈December 20

“For the Lord watches over the path of the Godly, but the path of the wicked leads to destruction.” (Psalm 1:6).

Beloved child, the Lord watches over your path. Do you acknowledge Him, asking that He can direct your paths? Or do you lean to your own understanding, going your own way, the way of the wicked and destruction?

Beloved child, the path that leads to destruction is wide and leads nowhere. Seek the Lord each morning and ask Him to show you which path you are traveling and, if necessary, change course by seeking His face.

December 21

“I love You, O Lord, my strength” (Ps. 18:1).

Beloved, where does your help and strength come from? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth! He will keep you in all your going out and coming in. This is His promise to you. When you are meditating on His Word, in all that you do—not just in some things that you do but in all that you do—you will prosper.

Beloved, don’t trust in mankind. Not in your friend, in your prayer partner, in me, or in anyone else. Don’t let these be your strength. For you will be like a bush in the desert land. You will not see when prosperity and blessings are coming to everyone else, when your friend or prayer partner is blessed. But you will live in a stony wasteland in the wilderness. So, instead, sweet Beloved, trust in the Lord. Say, “My trust is the Lord, who made heaven and earth!” Then you will be like a tree. You will not fear when the heat comes against you. Nor will you cease to yield the peaceable fruit of righteousness!

🎈December 21

“I love You, Lord, my source of strength!” (Psalm 18:1).

Beloved child, where does your strength come from? Say to Him, “My help comes from You, Lord, who made heaven and earth! You will keep me in all my going out and coming in.” Don’t trust in mankind. Not in your friend, not in anyone else but Him. Don’t let anyone be your strength. Do rely on what you can do. Give it to Him.

Beloved child, if it's not His strength, that's when you become a bush in the desert land, never seeing prosperity and blessings coming. Don’t live in a wasteland in the wilderness. Say, “My trust is You, Lord, You who made heaven and earth!” Then as a tree you will not fear when the heat comes and you will always produce the peaceable fruit of righteousness!

December 22

“The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold” (Ps. 18:2).

Beloved, who is your rock, your fortress, and your deliverer? Do not trust in man, in a friend, in an attorney, or even your pastor; trust in the Lord who delivers you from all your distresses! He will pull you up from the miry clay and set your feet upon a rock, making your footsteps firm. He will put a new song in your mouth, a song of praise to our God! Many will see what He has done and they will be converted to a God lover and worshiper!

Beloved, this is what our trials are about: to know the faithfulness of our Lord, to know the lovingkindness of our Lord, to know the goodness of our Lord. It is in the midst of these fiery trials that we are transformed, when the dross is cleared away from our lives.

O, taste and see that the Lord is good; His faithfulness is to all generations. Make Him your shield, your salvation, and your stronghold, today, and in every area of your life. Praise the Lord!!

🎈December 22

“The Lord is my Rock, my Stronghold, and my Savior; my God is my Rock, in whom I find protection, where I take shelter. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.” (Psalm 18:2).

Beloved child, who is your Rock, your Stronghold, and your Savior?  Only He can pull you up from the miry clay and set your feet upon a Rock, making your footsteps firm, high above your enemies.

Beloved child, as His child, He will put a new song in your mouth, a song of praise to our God! Many will see what He has done, and they will be drawn to know about your Father and become one of His.  Make Him your Shelter, your Protection, in every area of your life. Praise your Father in Heaven!!

December 23

“I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies” (Ps. 18:3).

Beloved, worship the Lord, for He is worthy to be praised. Call upon Him while He is near—He is near to the brokenhearted and those who are crushed in spirit! It is He who will save your from your enemies, from those who are too powerful for you. Love the Lord; cry out to Him.

Beloved, why should you trust in mortal man who will soon wither? There is a God who roams the earth looking for those whom He can strongly support, for those whose heart is completely His. Rest in the Lord; wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because those who prosper in their way. Cease from anger and worry—it leads only to evil doings. But those who wait for the Lord shall not be in want of any good thing. Sing hallelujah!!

🎈December 23

“I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised. That’s how I will be rescued from my enemies.” (Psalm 18:3).

Beloved child, He is worthy to be praised. Call upon Him while He is near. He is near to you now and when you are brokenhearted. It is He who will rescue you from your enemies, from everyone who is too powerful for you. Love Him; cry out to Him.

Beloved child, why trust in anyone who is not like our God, who roams the earth looking for those whom He can strongly support? He is looking for those whose heart is completely His. Rest in the Lord; wait patiently for Him. Do not fret because those who prosper— let go of anger and worry—it leads only to doing wrong. But you who wait for the Lord will not be in need of any good thing!!

December 24

“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears” (Ps. 18:6).

Beloved, the Lord’s ear is not dull that He cannot hear; cry to Him in your distress—call upon Him. Then wait. Oh, the wait. This is often the refining. It will either build our anxiousness, or build our trust and faith. The determining factor is what you do during your wait.

Beloved, spend your time in His presence and the time will fly by. But spend your time looking at your circumstances, talking about your circumstances, and you will soon stop waiting and take matters into your own hands.

Beloved, rest in the Lord and in His presence; enter into the presence in the Lord by opening the gates of righteousness. They are opened when you praise the Lord! Begin to thank Him for everything He has done each and every time you pray. Don’t stand outside the gates calling your requests out to Him. Instead thank Him, then praise Him and enter into His temple. Then abide there and see the salvation of the Lord. Hallelujah!!

🎈December 24

“In my time of need, I called out to the Lord, and cried to God, the Father for help. He heard my voice and my cry came to His ears.” (Psalm 18:6).

Beloved child, the Lord’s ear is as close as a whisper away when His child calls or cries to Him in distress. Then, while you wait, spend your time in the quietness of His presence, and the time will fly by. Why spend your time looking at your situation or talking about your troubles? It can only lead to despair and making a mess of things.

Beloved child, rest in the Lord and in His presence. Open the gates of His paradise by thanking Him for everything, each and everything He has done each and every time you called His name. Don’t stand outside His gates crying or begging for what you want. Simply thank Him, love Him, and enter into His presence. Then rest and live there in complete paradise!!

December 25

“He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters” (Ps. 18:16).

Beloved, the Lord sees your distress and He will be faithful to send His angels to rescue you. He will send for you from on high and take you into His loving arms. He will draw you out of the raging waters, waters that are too difficult for you.

Beloved, the Lord is near to those who fear Him, to those who call upon the name of the Lord. Some boast in other things, but we will boast in the name of the Lord. He is our banner and a shield to all who take refuge in Him.

Beloved, who is the Lord, but our God? And it is He who will rescue you. I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. But Beloved, He is faithful. Trust also in Him and He will do it. Praise the Lord!!

🎈December 25

“God reached down from above and took hold of me; He pulled me from the raging waters.” (Psalm 18:16).

Beloved child, your Father sees your distress, and He will reach down from high above and wrap you in His loving arms. He will draw you out of the raging waters, waters that are too difficult for you.

Beloved child, who is able to rescue you but the One who created you and loves you? You will despair if you forget that you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Beloved child, He is faithful. Trust also in Him, and He will do it!!

December 26

“He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from those who hated me, for they were too mighty for me” (Ps. 18:17).

Beloved, the Lord is faithful. He will deliver you from the strong enemy, from those who hate you, those who are too mighty for you. God is a refuge for us. O, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name forever!!

Beloved, why are you cast down? Is the Lord’s ear so dull that it cannot hear? Is His arm so short that He cannot save? Then say to your soul, “Rest in the Lord. Wait patiently for Him.” The Lord is a shield to all those who take refuge in Him. His name is the Lord of hosts, the mighty warrior. It is He who will trample down all evil.

Beloved, stand and see the salvation of the Lord. You will not have to fight this battle. Stand and see the goodness and the faithfulness of the Lord. Have you received a bad report? Then lay it at the feet of the Lord and let Him take care of it. We are the sheep of His pasture. He will make you lie down in green pastures and lead you beside quiet waters. Why fret when we have an advocate who is continually making intercession for us? Let us praise the Lord!! Hallelujah!!

🎈December 26

“He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong, too mighty for me.” (Psalm 18:17).

Beloved child, remember that the Lord is faithful. He will deliver you from the strongest and most powerful enemies. Many may hate you because you are His. God is your safe place.

Beloved child, stand to the side and see the salvation of the Lord. You will not have to fight this battle. Stand and see the goodness of the Lord. You are the sheep of His pasture, which is why He makes you lie down in green pastures and leads you beside quiet waters, so you can rest while He deals with your enemies.

December 27

“All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth to those who keep His covenant and His testimonies” (Ps. 25:20).

Beloved, all the paths that the Lord leads us on are marked with lovingkindness and truth. Broad is the way of destruction and many are those who travel that path. Oh, it seems good at the start, but it is the way of heartache and trouble. The narrow way is difficult to find, but through this valley of the shadow of death, you will fear no evil, for the Lord will be with you, and He will guide you. His rod and His staff will be a comfort to you.

Beloved, which path have you chosen to take today? Have you chosen the road that seems good? Have you been leaning to your own understanding? Instead, in all your ways, today and every day, acknowledge the Lord and He will direct your paths. Do not look to the right or to the left. Keep your eyes on the Lord and soon everything else will fade away. You will look to Him and be radiant and your face will never be ashamed! Hallelujah!!

🎈December 27

“The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who follow His agreement to obey His Word.” (Psalm 25:20).

Beloved child, the Lord leads you with unfailing love and the faithfulness you could ever imagine. Yet, never forget that the way of destruction is wide, and you will see so many who travel that path who appear to be blessed, but only at the start. All too soon, the easier path becomes nothing but heartache and trouble. Instead, the narrow path is difficult to find and also can be distressing while traveling through the valley of the shadow of death.

Beloved child, which path will you choose to take today and tomorrow? Have you chosen a path that seems good while leaning on your own understanding? Do not look to the right or to the left. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and as you do, your face will be radiant, never ashamed!!

December 28

“Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose” (Ps. 25:12).

Beloved, fear the Lord, you His saints! Lift up the Lord; let the praise of the Lord be continually on your tongue. This is the fear of the Lord, to want with all your heart His way and not our way. For His way is not our way; His thoughts are not our thoughts. For His thoughts are too high, as high as the heavens are above us.

Beloved, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord promises to deliver us out of them all—not some, but all! Therefore, do not choose your own solution. Do not try to lean unto your own understanding of the problem. Is there anything too difficult for the Lord? Then why do you fear? Why to you cringe at the fury of the oppressor?

Beloved, all the paths of the Lord are filled with lovingkindness and truth. Trust in Him; wait patiently for Him. For no one who ever trusted in the Lord was put to shame. Let us rejoice in the goodness of the Lord. Amen?

🎈December 28

“Who is the person who fears the Lord? He will show you the path you should choose.” (Psalm 25:12).

Beloved child, many are the difficulties of the righteous, but the Lord promises He will deliver us out of them all—not some, but all! Don’t choose your own solution or lean towards trying to understand the problem. Is there anything too difficult for the Lord?

Beloved child, all the paths of the Lord are filled with lovingkindness and truth. Trust in Him; wait patiently for Him. No one who ever trusted in the Lord was left in shame. Why not celebrate now?

December 29

“His soul will abide in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land” (Ps. 25:13).

Beloved, the Lord promises that your soul will abide in prosperity. This is the inheritance of the servants of the Lord. And this inheritance is what you can leave for your children! He promises that your descendants will inherit the land, will inherit all good things. They will be known among the nations. He will send them prosperity and peace.

Beloved, how our world has lied to us about living our lives for ourselves, in selfishness. We think only of what we are going through and neglect to see the inheritance that we are leaving to our children. Is our legacy that of a quitter or of one who continually fears? Instead, we are to leave an inheritance of being mighty in the Lord, of living in victory.

Beloved, what will be your legacy? How will you be remembered? What exploits have you done for the Lord your Maker? The inheritance you leave begins today—what road will you travel? Where will you lead your children, and your children’s children? Beloved, where you go, your children will follow. Today, walk in the way of the Lord. Let Him be your Lord and King. Seek Him with all your heart. Become a God lover and a God seeker. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and then all that you have ever wanted or dreamed will be given to you, and if it is done in adversity, you and your children will receive a double recompense for your trouble. Now praise the Lord with me!! Hallelujah!!

🎈December 29

“You will enjoy good things in life, and your children will inherit the land.” (Psalm 25:13).

Beloved child, the Lord promises that you will abide in prosperity. This is the inheritance of the children of the Father—prosperity that will continue on and on to your children and your children's children! He promises that the generations that follow you will inherit the promised land and be known among the nations as those who enjoy prosperity and peace.

Beloved child, how the world has lied to us about living our lives for ourselves. Being selfish and not considering what we will leave for the next generation is a sure way to misery. Beloved child, how will you be remembered? Seek Him with all your heart. Become a God lover and a God seeker. Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness so that all you have ever wanted or dreamed will be given to you and to your children—double payment for your trouble!!

December 30

“For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His” (2 Chron. 19:9).

Beloved, this is such a profound verse with the principle that can cause our hearts to be forever and completely His. Daily, and even moment-by-moment, the Lord continually searches the entire earth over just looking, continually looking, for that heart that is completely for Him.

This, my Beloved, is such good and fantastic news for the believer. For never are we alone or insufficient, but we have the strong support of the Lord our God! Amazing and incredible, and completely true. Beloved, rest in this and do nothing but keep your heart for Him alone. Not for His hand, but for His heart.

Nothing you do today will have a more profound change in your life than to make sure that your heart is not divided, but is completely and totally the Lord, your God’s. For He has promised that when it is, He will seek you out and strongly, unfailingly, seek you out to help and support you!

🎈December 30

“For the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth looking to support everyone whose heart is completely His.” (2 Chronicles 19:9).

Beloved child, this is such a heartfelt promise to remain forever and completely His. He says He is continually searching the entire planet, just looking for each heart that is completely His and His alone.

This, my Beloved child, is amazingly good and fantastic news for you who are His. It means you are never alone but have the strong support of the Lord! Amazing and incredible, and completely true. Beloved child, rest in this and do nothing but keep your heart for Him alone. Make sure that your heart is not divided but is completely and totally His!

December 31

“The secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and He will make them know His covenant” (Ps. 25:14).

Beloved, all the secrets of this vast universe are preserved for His anointed, for those who fear and love the Lord. He will bring you into His confidence and let you know His plans. The righteous will not be shaken. He will prepare you for anything and everything that is about to come against you. You will not fear.

Beloved, make the Lord everything to you, for in Him there is no want, no want of any good thing. The blessings of the Lord are forever and will be showered on you even if you are right now praising Him with tears. Your eye has not seen nor has your ear heard the wonderful blessings that He has for you in your future, for those who wait for Him. And during the wait, do not fret, but praise Him for His goodness.

Beloved, choose you this day whom you will serve. If God is for you, who can be against you? The Lord will surround you with His lovingkindness, and in the shadow of His wings you will sing joyfully to the Lord.

Come, magnify the Lord with me! Let us exalt His name together. Hallelujah!!

🎈December 31

“The secret of the Lord is for those who are near to Him. He reveals to them the intent of His promises.” (Psalm 25:14).

Beloved child, all the secrets of this vast universe are reserved for you, for His children. He lovingly shows you His plans so you will not be shaken. He promises to prepare you for anything and everything that is about to come against you, so you never need to fear.

Beloved child, make the Lord everything to you, for in Him there is no want, no want of any good thing. The blessings of the Lord are forever and will be showered on you even when there is not a cloud in sight. No one has seen or heard the wonderful blessings that He has for you in your future, for His children who wait for Him.

Beloved child, choose today whom you will serve, who you will love. When God is for you, who can possibly come against you? The Lord surrounds you with His lovingkindness, and in the shadow of His wings, you will sing joyfully to the Lord. Let us shout His name together!!
