Ecstatic With So Much Blessing and Care

Hello dear Brides!! “♫♪ Count your blessings; Name them one by one. Count your blessings; See what God hath done…” ♫♪ – It is with this hymn that I want to start my PR this morning, encouraging you to praise Him too \o/

I magnified the Lord for all things because it was in this wilderness where He taught me to be content and satisfied in all things, for He has been sufficient for me.

Erin tells us in Chapter 4 “Various Trials”; “Learning contentment. We see that we must learn contentment by the difficult circumstances that God has allowed. “Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. . . . In every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need” (Phil. 4:11–12).” I encourage you to re-read this chapter again, you are a healer !! 🙂

In my last PR I told you about my left eye surgery (unfortunately I had a retinal detachment and had emergency surgery). Last week I went back to the doctor and he told me that the surgery was successful. PTL! \o/. Now I needed new glasses because the grade increased a little for long distances. But I was remembering that I could not work for 2 weeks (because of surgery) and how I was in lack and could not have new glasses. 🙁 I remembered too when Erin tells us about that when He decides to give double blessings after trials and Chapter 8 “Embracing the Poverty” – Poverty Mentality she said: “Don’t run from poverty and lack—I promise that you don’t want to miss what is up ahead by turning back now!” \o/

I really didn’t know how I was going to do it, but my Beloved Husband already knew everything. So I waited for the arrangements prayed and said what I needed and that I trusted Him for my new pair of glasses.

My surprise was how He sees my heart’s wish in detail when a friend called me saying that she would travel and needed someone to sleep with the cat for 1 night and that she would pay for this job. I knew it was my Lord moving. This my dear friend has the most beautiful garden I’ve ever seen and every time I visited her I thought how good it would be to have breakfast in that garden… So I went to sleep with the cat, had breakfast in the wonderful garden, and could still have my new glasses. Wow!! He really is amazing.

But the blessings don’t stop there. Leaving home for my appointment and buying the new glasses I just thought: “Now I can no longer wear my sunglasses because of the long-distance lens I need, but amen, the Lord will provide one day”.

When I arrived at the shop to make my new glasses, I knew it would be 30% off because there were only 2 months of use, so I chose a new frame and the Ophthalmologist told me I needed special glasses (for retinal detachment). What was not my surprise when the attendant told me that day there was a promotion and that I could not only have 1 glasses but 3 at half price including sunglasses, I was really ecstatic with so much blessing and care of my Beloved Heavenly Husband. At that moment I thought of the words “double blessing” and it really was something from heaven.

Thank you, My Love, for all this weekend’s affection, for all your care even though I don’t deserve it, even though I sometimes don’t understand Your plans, “which are peace plans” (Jeremiah 29:11).

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”(2 Corinthians 4: 16-18). NIV

Dear Brides, do not be afraid of the big trials that may come, embrace it as Erin tells us, “embrace” what He allows to be brought to you that are surely plans to make you prosper, healing plans, plans for you. You really learn contentment under any circumstances, double honor plans.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
