In Chapter 1 "The Poverty Mentality Defined" I'd completely forgotten about the story of the man who'd stood to sell pecans only to have something to eat and my mom coming over to pay for his food. This was a very emotional story!!! We are rich because HE is rich and also rich with love to give because HE gives us His love.
“… you may say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand made me this wealth.’ But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth, that He may confirm His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day” (Deuteronomy 8:17–18)
This year I know that the Lord is going to provide two things because He's told me He will. I can only trust because the funds aren't there but my faith is constantly confirming my Father's endless provision!!!!
Yesterday was the last day of my mom's move and He did so much. Just one of the blessings was being given furniture to either give away or resell!! I'd never done something like this before but not one piece of furniture was left without a home!!!
My friend has always struggled greatly with finances so I will be SG for opportunities to share what He's shown me. I would just love to see my friend set free from all the emotional stress by living out principles like this.
Let’s pray! Lord, give me more wisdom on this principle so I can live it out to share with others!! Thank you, Father, that we never have to worry. You not only meet our needs but go out of your way to bless us!!!!
