Give Me Faith Like That!

♕ Today's Promise: “And all your sons will be taught of the LORD; and the well-being of your sons will be great.” Isaiah 54:13

This may not be a Praise Report, but more of a Living Lesson, but I do want to share it with you because it was ALL Him and how He is teaching each of us every day.

Yesterday He reminded me of the faith of children and I understood when He said: "And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven" Matthew 18:3 (NIV)

My children had a sports day at school and we are having rain season and yesterday there were clouds and wind and rain was expected but it did not rain.

Last night I was telling my children that for sure I thought it was going to rain today and my daughter said that she prayed that it should not rain because she did not want the day to rain out because then she would have to have class all day:)

I explained to her that I understand why she asked the Lord for it not to rain but she must understand that we also need the rain for things to grow and for us to have water to drink. She said she never thought of it that way and she understands that it may have been selfish for her to think this way.

As I was passing going to my room to fetch something a little later that evening, I heard her praying and apologize to the Lord and ask if He will please let it rain.

And maybe half an hour later I heard thunder and it started raining!!! I was just laughing and telling my Heavenly Husband just how sweet He is doing this for His daughter:):):)

I heard my daughter saying, thank You, Lord. So, I asked her if she is not surprised that it rained and she said something that sounded so wise for a 9-year-old girl. She said: "I am thankful, but not surprised because I asked the Lord to let it rain"

Thankful but not surprised. She just knew once she asked, He will do it. Can you imagine if all of us had faith like that? So last night when I spoke to my Heavenly Husband I asked Him to give me faith like that! That is the faith that can move mountains!!!
