He Doesn’t Want Our Lives to Be Burdensome

♕ Today's Promise: “I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip—he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you—the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm —he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” Psalm 121: 1-8

My HH (Heavenly Husband) ALWAYS turns up so mightily when I am faced with a crisis, when I am needing Him most!!

Due to some changes after my kids started schooI this year and especially my son starting Grade 1. I was faced with the fact that I did not have the time available that I had previously and sadly my ministry work suffered from this... 🙁 My daughter has always been a very good student who always got good marks and always needed minimal help from me. But suddenly I was faced with the fact that my son needed LOADS of my time to help him get through his homework. This greatly affected the time I had available throughout my day.

Believe me when I say that I was going through days feeling like I was getting NOTHING done.

Once I realised this and was left with the consequence I had no choice but to take it to my Heavenly Husband to sort out for me.

The funny thing is that Tuesday's HTBB [How to Be Blessed] the very last principle for this year which is Principle 14 [“Be a Doer”] is what He used to speak into my heart. What I LOVED that was written and just spoke so deeply into my heart is where it said, I am going to include it:

[ "As His bride, He doesn’t want our lives to be burdensome. Instead, He wants us more than any person in the world to trust HIM to do it. “Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him and He will do it.” Psalm 37:5

It’s like He is whispering, "Dearest bride of mine, 'apart from Me you can do nothing' (John 15:5) so please just ask Me to carry this burden or responsibility or change what needs to be changed."]

He doesn't want me to feel burdened and He wanted me to remember that APART FROM HIM I could do NOTHING!

SO! My praise is this \o/ My HH (Heavenly Husband) is so wonderful to show me through His word how much He loves me and wants to help me. Today I got SOOOO MUCH DONE!! I can hardly BELIEVE IT!! And to top it off HE gave me wisdom!! He showed me to ask my older daughter who was week off school (due to covid restrictions) to help my son with his homework 🙂 Dare I say I think she did a better job than me LOL!!

Now I can't help but think that on a normal day I struggle and hardly get anything done but the minute I focus on where my help comes from I get soooo much done. Reminds me of one of my favorite Psalms. Psalm 121. Isn't just like Him to create these crises after He let us go on our own merry way trying to do it ALL on our own to finally ASK HIM? Haha I KNOW I remember that I have read about this somewhere in the courses!!

It's just so amazing and mind-blowing how He helps us when we simply ask and remember what His word, what His PROMISES is promising us!

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
