A few years ago, I realized that I needed glasses as I'm near sighted. The ironic thing is, my sister who would ask me to drive for her at night had almost the exact same prescription as I had but I never wore glasses!!! Honestly, I had no idea there was something wrong with my eyes and assumed I was just tired haha.
Two years passed and I needed an updated eye exam. Found out my vision had progressively gotten worse so I ordered two pair of glasses online. The day it was supposed to arrive, I looked up the tracking information and saw it'd gotten lost in transit. I claimed double and then He led me to contact the company and they confirmed the status saying they were creating a replacement order with express shipping (yet it would be another two plus weeks until arrival).
Isaiah 61:7-8 “Instead of your shame you will have a DOUBLE portion, and instead of humiliation they will shout for joy over their portion Therefore they will possess a DOUBLE portion in their land, Everlasting joy will be theirs. For I, the LORD, love justice, I hate robbery . . . And I will faithfully give them their recompense And make an everlasting covenant with them.”
The following day I watched as a delivery truck drove down the lane and rounded the corner to my residence. I thought how nice it would have been if the delivery was for me with my glasses —though that was impossible! Turns out it wasn't!!! He led me to turn around, go back and saw the delivery had my glasses—the very next day after I claimed double.
Yet He wasn't done. This morning, six days later, I woke up to an email notice that my package was on its way, which meant the first package was my Lost shipment!! He gave me double (4 pairs)!!
