At the start of 2021 I was so excited to start this new year. Every year our Heavenly Husband gives RMI a promise and although I love each one of them, this year’s is my favorite.
“But then I will win her back once again. I will lead her into the desert and speak tenderly to her there. I will return her vineyards to her And transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. When that day comes,” says the Lord, “you will call me ‘my husband’ instead of ‘my master.’O Israel, I will wipe the many names of Baal from your lips, and you will never mention them again. On that day I will make a covenant with all the wild animals and the birds of the sky and the animals that scurry along the ground so they will not harm you. I will remove all weapons of war from the land, all swords and bows, so you can live unafraid in peace and safety.” Hosea 2:14-18 (NTL)
Out of all the promises He has given us throughout the years, this one I feel is the heart of the ministry!! Our heart’s desire above all else is for everyone of us to know Him as our Heavenly Husband. Where we move from the “Valley of trouble into a gateway of hope”, and we will call Him “Husband” and not “Master”, Oh how reading this fills my heart with so much JOY and LOVE for Him and to know that this is His promise to us so we can “live unafraid, in peace and safety”. I jump with excitement!!
A couple of months ago I shared with my Love the desire to have another Love song with Him. I treasure the one He already gave me, but I wanted a new one, because our love continues to grow. I left it alone and just waited. During the Holiday season, the ministry shared some songs to share with our Heavenly Husband and one was so upbeat that I got up and danced! I love to dance, so in my heart I shared this with Him how awesome it would be to have a fun and upbeat Love song from Him for us. Again, I left it alone and just waited.
Well this week, I am back to work and am borrowing my mom’s car since she is out of the country. I still have not been able to learn how to use the radio and I kept trying to get to my favorite station. With no success, I just gave up and left it where it was. When the song started playing, my heart jumped, like it did the first time He gave me our Love song. It was beautiful and calming and I absolutely knew it was for us. It is called BREATHE from Faith Hill. I was so appreciative that He gave me the desire of my heart. I felt like I was floating as I sang with Him. But, then the next song started and I felt my heart jump again. “I said what??? Two in a row??” Maybe I was just getting excited for nothing, but as I heard the music, I started dancing in my seat, (safely of course because I was driving), it was our upbeat Love song!! I couldn’t stop smiling and moving to the beat as I sang my 2nd new Love song with Him called WHEN I THINK OF YOU from Janet Jackson. He just didn’t give me one but two amazing Love songs and my heart just bursts with how He takes care of me and loves me like no other!!
