Dear loved ones! I just read the lesson about Medicate or Heal in Course 2 and it totally resonated with me. I had to share this because I’ve dealt with anxiety my entire life and when my husband left me and our two kids about a month ago I was afraid that the crippling anxiety that I used to feel was going to come back.
2 Corinthians 10:5 “We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ.”
Before having my children I used to have anxiety so bad that I was always nauseous and I wouldn’t be able to sleep because my body would literally tremble the entire night and I would have to go to the bathroom every few minutes.
Praise my Beloved that I did not go through that anymore I am believing that he has completely healed me from this! My solution? I focused on HIM I went to HIM for everything and I trusted HIM! He loves me so well and is meeting all my needs whenever I do struggle with anxiety which is usually at night. I will just Praise Him continually, thank Him and tell Him how much I love Him and eventually it goes away. My beloved showed me that I am a lot stronger than I think I am.
Psalms 107:20 “He sent his word and it healed them, and delivered them from their destructions”
Psalm 9:10 “Those who know your name trust in you, for you O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you.”
I urge you, ladies, if you struggle with anxiety our HH can and will heal you from this. He wants us to be healed healthy and whole. All Glory be to Him! He is so good!
Matthew 7:7 “Keep on asking and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
