A Wake-Up Call for Me!

Dear brides, I am a single mom and the sole provider in my home, what a was a wake-up call for me! When my finances get overwhelming, I tended to worry a bit. But the Bible says in Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes. Matthew 6:27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life. Brides we are not to be worried or anxious about anything. Your Heavenly Husband will provide. Come to him with your burdens.

Dear brides: This Chapter 1 “The Poverty Mentality Defined” was a wake-up call for me. I’m always worrying about my budget and what I should prevent buying etc. This chapter reminds me that God will supply ALL (not some) of my needs according to his riches. I have to train my mind and mouth to have faith and speak positively.  Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. My HH owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). He lives in a mansion with many rooms. He owns the gold and silver. He longs to be gracious to you and to me. Go to him as your HH and cast your burdens on him.

The Lord has been teaching me his word in an intimate way. I am reading and believing his promises that do not come back void. I look forward to spending time with him and reminding myself of his promises. At times I struggle with myself. I get in the way of myself but I’m reminded that the Lord is my helper in time of need.

Philippians 4:19 And my God will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

God will provide and is my provider in every area of my life. It also reminds me that all I have to do is ask. I reason. The Lord owns everything and he is the one I need to run to as he longs to be gracious to me. I struggled with my finances and overwhelming bills. When reading this Chapter 1 “The Poverty Mentality Defined” today, I made the decision to renew my mind with the word of the Lord and how I do not need to worry. I was able to relate to the poverty mentality as I worry about my finances and how I’m going to make ends meet. Philippians 4:19 is clear and I will take heed to that scripture as well as the others. When given the opportunity I always share what I’m learning with others.

Isaiah 30:18 says that the lord longs to be gracious to me and therefore he waits on high to have compassion on me. For the Lord is a God of justice, how blessed are all those who long for him.

Say this Prayer with me dear Bride: My beloved Lord, I thank you for being gracious to me and being my provider. Forgive me for worrying about my finances. You are my provider and I shall not lack anything. My children shall not beg for bread in Jesus name. Your word is sharp and living. I will trust you in all things. Forgive me for shaming you by worrying and not having faith. I am rich in you and will be your forever bride.

This book is phenomenal. The proof. Matthew 12:34 says for the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart. Let’s keep the mouth pure and positive as well as the heart. Let’s not grieve our HF with his promises and provision. It’s shameful and sinful. His resources are endless. The poverty mentality is a lie from the enemy. Our Beloved died for you and for me so we can live an abundant life.

Phillipians 4:19 Message: β€œYou can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.”
