♕ Today's Promise: "The LORD will perfect that which concerns me" Psalm 138:8
Dear Brides, as women we are looking to be loved unconditionally, understood, cherished, provided for. Reading this Chapter 9 "What’s the Point?" will help you to find this if it is what you are looking for.
Even though God did restore and my marriage and I am still restored I still really enjoyed reading this chapter because I had SOOO many questions of my own!! When I found out my EH infidelity after our marriage was restored I could NOT understand why? So imagine my shock when I found out?! And Yes it was like what was the point of having a restored marriage if your EH is going to cheat on you again? What's the point of learning all the principles I had learned, reading and journaling my way through C1 & C2 and practicing them if I was to go through more of the same heartache?
But if any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives it to men liberally. —James 1:5
We are not only free to ask our HH for wisdom but he will give us that wisdom liberally. When we are questioning why we going through a hardship or difficulty we can ask Him for wisdom or to just help us to understand.
Later, seeking Him for wisdom as the writer of this Chapter suggests He did reveal some stuff to me. But as hard as it was I learned one very valuable lesson and that is that we cannot EXPECT that our HH is going to do something in the way and in the timespan WE believe He will. He does things in HIS TIMING and in the WAY that HE wants to so that He can perfect not only us through our trials but also prepare us for our Ministry as well…
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me: Psalm 138:8.
So looking back it was almost as if my Restored Marriage Testimony became FLAWED… But it didn't… It only intensified my love and my desire for my HH and my utter trust in Him to perfect what concerns me.
I was His Bride but then I became a Bride that fell even deeper in love with my HH!! I also received an even greater desire to reach out to hurting women so that they too could find their greatest Love!
Encourage women in their Restoration Journey that it is not enough to just have a restored marriage, once you have a restored marriage the race DOES NOT end there… Neither does your Restoration Journey…
“Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life shall lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake shall find it’” (Matthew 16:25)
This verse has always meant so much to me over the years and even more so now that I have transitioned completely to doing Ministry work.
So it would always be to encourage women to find their HH, only by finding Him would they truly experience true and perfect love beyond their imagination.
Let's pray: My precious Love, please reveal more of this chapter to me, give me more wisdom and understanding of what I have read. Help me to share with women how much You want to love them and want to cherish them and give them the desires of their hearts.
