I Feel Brand New Again

β™• Today's Promise: "The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. The Lord is their [unyielding] strength, And He is the fortress of salvation to His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever." Psalm 28:7-9

☊ PRAISE from Atarah

Dear Brides, there has been some trials that have come up and other difficulties. This morning I must confess that I did not wake up in a very good frame of mind because of how I was feeling.

So before I forget I came to tell you about how my HH (Heavenly Husband) turned those negative feelings I had around!!! He used a difficult situation my 7 year old son went through. So just to give you some background to understand. For the last week I had been noticing that his reading book where the teacher marks off the amount of pages that he needs to read was not being signed off by the teacher or signed and updated. So I asked my son why was his teacher not doing this? I kept asking him each day until finally the truth came out, he was not going up to read when his group got called πŸ™

His dad had came home and heard so he got an extra shouting, I did as I learned from WW (Wise Woman) and just kept quiet. My son being upset... put himself to bed extra early. This morning when he woke up I could tell that he was still very distraught. I want to thank my HH for giving me the words to explain about those things that are in darkness which are not right, that need to come into the light, that he would need to confess his fault to the teacher and that now that it was in the open it was all over and done. Finished. And that all things work together for the good and that he could watch what His Heavenly Daddy would do.

What I really want to give my HH (Heavenly Husband) praise for is the kids devotion for this morning which spoke so clearly to the situation bringing so much healing not just to my son's heart but to mine too!!! \o/

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him." Psalm 28:7

Did you see that? He is our strength and shield!! He helps us!! The kids devotion gave such a wonderful explanation saying that in life we put our trust and strength in other things, like ourselves, our friends, our money... it explained that if we put our faith in everything else besides the Lord it will fail us!!

So ladies I was greatly encouraged knowing that I can put my faith in no-one else but my HH, I can trust HIM and HE helps me, so I'm going to praise Him, I am going to spend as much of my time today as I can listening to Love Songs, He already has an old love song playing through my head called "You Make Me Feel Brand New".

He makes me feel brand new, every time I go through a difficulty or trial He is there and through that trial he helps me through it and I feel brand new again because of His love, if I did not have difficulties and trials I would not NEED HIM, my kids would not NEED HIM.

So let us thank and praise Him for every difficulty, trial and setback that comes up against us because it is what He is using to draw our hearts close to HIS where HE WANTS IT!! Do you see that ladies? How He allows our trials and difficulties to bring us closer to Him because He loves and wants us so to be close to HIM so much? May He remind me and you dear Bride of this truth and may He never let us forget this wonderful TRUTH!

"The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] shield; My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. The Lord is their [unyielding] strength, And He is the fortress of salvation to His anointed. Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; Be their shepherd also, and carry them forever."
