Praise the Lord!!! I found it!!! His love song to me:)
A while ago, while I was still working for the Police Department, there was a time where I felt a little far away from the Lord, I am sure you understand the feeling and I was thinking about this on my drive home with the radio in the background when a song came on the radio. It started with the lyrics: “Have I told you lately that I love you, have I told you there is no one else above you” and I started crying because He knew my heart, He knew what I was thinking and put my thoughts into a song. When I got home I looked up the lyrics and I loved them. I sing this song to Him all the time.
Then one morning I was having my quiet time with Him before the kids wake up and as I was clearing my mind of everything, an Afrikaans song came to mind that I have not heard since childhood and I will translate the first few lines for you although they will not translate as well it will still give you and idea: “Without you I can’t live, without you I am alone, without you I have no peace, without you, without you” And I thought, wow Lord now I have a song for you in English and Afrikaans. Still I was waiting for a song for Him to sing to me:)
Then I heard Lota ’s testimony of how He showed her and I spoke to Him and said when it is time You will let me know.
Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV) “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
We are having a power crisis in our country and to remedy this, the government has employed a tactic called load-shedding. There is a schedule whereby we all will be without electricity for a few hours every day to lighten the load on the system. We plan our days around this schedule. When the power went off, I made myself lunch and I searched for some songs to play. I came upon a playlist and almost at the end there was this song that touched my heart. Just moments before I was telling Him how I still do not have a song from Him to me. When I looked it up on the internet it seems to be an old song and very popular so why I have not heard it up to today, well… His appointed time:)
When I looked at the lyrics there were some that I said, Lord can I tell others about this song without being judged and then He brought to mind another testimony from Vero in RBG.
Revelation 12:11 (KJV) “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death.”
The song is called: “To make you Feel my Love”, by Billy Joel. And from the moment I listened to it, I knew this is the song. So thank You, my dear Heavenly Husband, for giving this song to me. I love You and thank You for going to ends of the earth to make me feel Your love:)
