Hello dear sisters in Christ! It is the first time that I write a PR to praise the Lord, and to thank Him for His mercy in my life.
I´ve been helping with the translations of RMI resources to Turkish, and with the proofreading of the book How God Can and Will Restore your Marriage. I prayed for a long time to help women in my country(Turkey is a Islamic country, and even the minority of Christians here don´t know or don´t follow God´s word). I did not know how I could help them, but now the Lord is teaching me what I need to know to minister in their life!! So far all the chapters that I proofread taught me how wrong I acted towards my family, showed me my sins against God, His word and principles. I was a pharisee and the responsibility for the destruction of my house. But my Lord is full of mercy and give me His grace, forgiving my sins, molding and teaching me His ways. He is already using my life to talk about His Truth in my country.
I have a dear friend that moved to the US with her husband and children a few years ago. They are Christians and very active in their church. We still maintain contact, and we talk at least two times a month. In our last conversation, she was very sad and distressed. She told me about her marriage crisis and that they were thinking about separation. I was shocked, because they seemed to have a very solid relationship, so I just heard her, while she was talking I was praying for a opportunity to encourage her to seek God.
After she finished, because she knew that I went through a divorce she asked for my advice. Instead of telling her what to do, I directed her to the encouragingwomen.org website and told her about the resources, the Restore your Marriage book and told her how much I was learning with the Ministry. She told me that she would read the resources and the courses.
I still don´t have news about her, but I trust that the Lord can lead her to Him, speak to her heart and teach her to seek Him first. Even if she don´t read any of it, the seed was sowed in her life and I can rest knowing that the Lord is in control of everything. I will continue to pray for my friend and for more opportunities from the Lord, to share about all the things that He is teaching me!!
