“This is the God whose way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.” P18:30
Dear friend, this week I was rereading the lessons from our Homemaker course, and I was able to reflect on what it means to be a woman after God’s own heart. I came to understand that this woman goes beyond a definition, as we live a journey of personal discovery. She connects us with our divine identity and God’s purpose for us.
This leads us to understand that our dignity, grace, and strength come from God’s love. This shows us that we don’t depend on circumstances, but rather on the love and wisdom of our Beloved Lord.
It’s no secret to you how much I love this course; it has changed my vision of how to be the woman, mother, and Bride that my Heavenly Husband (HH) desires me to be in my home. And what I’ve learned is how wonderful and rewarding the position of being a Home Worker is. Before, I never knew how and never wanted to learn many household chores, including sewing. I thought it wasn’t necessary to know how to do these things.
Today, rereading Chapter 16: Making the Most of Sewing, I remembered the countless times I had to take my ex-boyfriend’s shirts to a seamstress just to replace a button that had fallen off.
Although I still don’t know much about sewing, rereading this rich and wonderful lesson reminded me that when I learned about His desires for me, He encouraged and guided me by the desire to learn and learn for myself, to make small repairs and even make clothes and dresses for my daughter.
I also remembered how much my mother loved to sew; she was always making something for her grandchildren. My daughter, then, has always been very blessed with dresses and skirts she made.π₯°
Today, I see my daughter (even though she’s a 13-year-old) sewing clothes for her dolls, and it makes me very happy. I know that even though I wasn’t the one to teach her this skill, I know she acquired this desire by watching my mother’s example.
I so want to practice all the principles I learned in this fantastic course, and now that He has granted me the desire to be a Homemaker, I can dedicate myself to not only taking care of the housework, but also to spending quality time with my family. I have had the opportunity to be the one who seeks to follow the Lord’s guidance, teaching my daughter and other women the Lord has placed in my life.
Oh, my dear friend, what I’d like to share with you is that I began this journey as a woman, and now I can see a great transformation within myself… I’m filled with wonderful experiences that have made me very happy. π
Yes, my dear friend, seeing my home different, tidy, and organized, and feeling my heart filled with love and gratitude, and also feeling an immense desire to care for my home and family, brings tears of happiness to my eyes… I can tell you that it is an honor for me to be not only His Bride, but also the woman He planned me to be. I know I’m not perfect, but I’m allowing myself to be perfected by Him!
Dear friend, be encouraged to live the greatest and best experiences of your lives as you learn and practice all the principles shared with us by our Heavenly Husband in this course. And believe me, my dear, your home will be a sanctuary of peace, where His presence will be felt, and we will be able to raise our children in the fear and love of the Lord, while also keeping our home organized and welcoming.
Be encouraged! π

Each lesson of Homemaker is so informative. Seeing our role as homemakers as the blessing He gives us to maintain order throughout the home.
Thank you, dear Marta, for your praise.
