It Sounds Silly

After I came back from meeting Atarah in Durban, my visa was waiting for me – approved, I am going to Paris!

So here I am leaving our country for the first time in my life. All I could think of was: If He can do this, how much more can He do? When you read in the bible that nothing is impossible for the Lord, you have that knowledge in your head, but then you give yourself over to Him and He plants that conviction in your heart and it grows every time You trust Him and He comes through for you. Then He does more than you can ever imagine and that “faith plant” in your heart turns into the loveliest tree you have ever seen and it all starts with Him, the Love of our life.

Numbers 6:25 (NLT): “May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.”

Going to Paris was just great, what was more amazing than even that was meeting up with Tara, Sara, Paula, and Lota and then later being even further blessed with spending some time with Adele. Seeing all of them, it felt like I’ve known them forever like it felt when meeting Atarah in Durban. And He reminded me of why that is, it is because we belonged to the same body. We may be from all parts of the world, but in Him we are one. We have one Heavenly Husband and throughout that week, I could see how each of us played a very unique part in His kingdom.

1 Corinthians 12:27 (TLB) “Now here is what I am trying to say: All of you together are the one body of Christ, and each one of you is a separate and necessary part of it.”

I was so blessed that week with everywhere we went. All the new experiences. The beautiful places we saw. Paris is truly the City of Love and we went with the best Husband ever!

The one day, I spend the day alone at home.  I went out for a walk, not going anywhere specific, just going where He leads me. That day I experienced His love like never before, I am not sure how to explain it into words but let me try. It felt so romantic. The small back streets were like things I have read in novels as a teenager. The houses with windows that had wooden shutters and plants in the window sill. It just reminded me of this fairy tale, the only difference being that my fairy tale was real. As I walked down the streets with all the shop owners greeting me in French, I felt I could break out in song:) You know those old musicals, where she would walk down the street with her flowers in her arms and smelling the fruit at the shops and greeting everyone? LOL, it sounds silly, but that is the picture that came to mind.

Then to be able to share all of this with His brides made it even more memorable!!! Being able to spend time listening to their testimonies from their own mouth, not reading it on paper and hearing what He has done in their lives and listening to each of them being the encouraging women that the Lord has meant for us to be. That was my truest blessing of all and I was able to take a little piece of each of them and put it away in my heart forever. So even if we never see each other in this life again, we will always have Paris:):):)

My Heavenly Husband did this amazing thing for us and not because any of us deserves it, but because He loves us and we are precious to Him. I thank Him for placing it on Erin’s heart and making it possible for us to have this Honeymoon with Him.

In the beginning of my restoration journey, the Lord gave me this verse: Isaiah 54:2 (NLT) “Enlarge your house; build an addition. Spread out your home, and spare no expense!” I always assumed that it means my EH “earthly husband” is coming back and that we would have more children, but now I know it also meant that my Heavenly Husband is going to give me this extended family from all across the world.

Every year with Him is more amazing than the last, can you imagine what He has planned next? I cannot wait!!!
