I want to share a miracle and my whole heart filled with gratitude that my HH takes care of everything. It had been many days in the hospital with my mom (that I first shared in my previous praise report) and one of the evenings my brother came to stay with her so I can go home. He got there around 5 pm and said that either he or his wife (my sister-in-law) would spend the night with her so I can rest. She is a nurse and got out of work around 8 pm.
She called my brother to ask about my mom’s blood pressure since they were going to administer a new medication to regulate an arrhythmia in her heart. When he read it to my sister-in-law she said to tell the attending nurse to hold off on the medicine until she arrived because her blood pressure was a bit low. She arrived around 10 pm and checked my mom’s blood pressure and it was better so around 10:30 pm she gave my mom the medicine and they went to sleep around 11:30 pm. At 1:30 am my mom woke up feeling hot and short of breath. This has happened before when I was there and I would just fan her until she went back to sleep. Since my SIL is a nurse she saw that she starting sweating cold and called the attending nurse right away to check her blood pressure. It was dangerously low and she vomited. My SIL gave her coffee and thank God after that her blood pressure regulated.
You see, she explained to me that if my mom would have been given that medicine at 8 pm like the nurse wanted to, with her blood pressure already low, she would have been rushed to ICU and critical. MY HH SAVED MY MOM!!!! HE put the right person with her that night because of His love for my mom.
Through all of this, He has restored my mom and sister-in-law’s relationship!! There was tension between them, but now, her being a nurse for this hospital, has gone above and beyond to make sure my mom is taken care of. My sister-in-law has been an encouragement to my mom and like a daughter with her attention and care!! Truly there is no relationship impossible for Him to restore!!
My brothers and I have all gotten closer as well, and most importantly closer to Jesus as we trust and have faith in Him above all else. We are praying together and sharing scriptures. I am so amazed how as a family we are keeping HIM in the center as our foundation and rock.
"Our soul waits for the LORD; He is our help and our shield. For our hearts rejoice in Him, since we trust in His holy name. May Your loving devotion rest on us, O LORD, as we put our hope in You" Psalm 33:20-21
