“For the LORD has called you, Like a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, Even like a wife of one’s youth when she is rejected,’ Says your God… For your Husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel, Who is called the God of all the earth’”(I54:6–5).
Just recently I saw one of the women commented in one of the Saturday Thankfulness post. She said, “Thank you for my restored marriage”. Immediately my heart smiled, I was really happy for her. I think it was her RMT that got posted that same day as well.
Everytime I read an RMT either from the books, or from the courses, or from the blogs… I found that each of their testimony is unique. Not one is the same, God uniquely moved in each of their lives. Some had to go through it for a really long time, some God moved quickly. Every little bit was for a purpose He has planned for a greater future.
But, there is only one thing in common from their testimonies. Which is the best part, the part I look forward to read.
It is them finding and knowing who their First Love is, their Heavenly Husband. This is why I love reading RMTs. I want to see how their story of finding their HH came about.
I want to learn how they overcame the hurdle of letting go, how they maintained their relationship with Him, how intimate they are, how much they love and cherish Him. How they stood up when they sometimes become unfaithful to Him.
I myself want to be like them too, to have that kind of realtionship with Him. Though, I know I really do love my HH now. I know there’s still more to it. I know it can be more intimate. Reading these testimonies, I can learn from them how to fall in love, so in love with Him.
Thank You father God for restoring their marriages! But most of all, thank You for giving us Your Son to be our Heavenly Husband. You love us so much that you did whatever it takes just so we can find Him. Just so we can experience true love! A love that no other man can give!

This morning, I’d like to respond to your post with what our Lord placed on my heart. 💛
It’s so easy to fall back into old habits… to become idolatrous again without even realizing it. But after filling out the form, Erin shared some principles that really opened my eyes.
I asked our HH to create spaces in my day so I could spend time with Him. And I understood that the Wise Woman book isn’t just something to read—it’s something to apply right now.
Abundant life continues, even in the midst of difficulties. I used to think the hard times would come later, but the truth is, the challenges are already here: the challenge of staying consistent, of keeping the course with Him without letting go.
What helps me is listening to love songs for Him, reading my Bible, continuing with my praise reports… and especially, making the most of every second to speak with Him in my heart, to share all my concerns, joys, and thoughts.
He is—and always will be—the perfect Husband. 💍
At first, I idolized my earthly husband… but now, I run to my HH in every corner of the house, even if it’s just for 5 or 10 minutes. He is enough for me, and I love Him so much.
And don’t forget—when it comes to letting go, sometimes all it takes is saying:
“Lord, You are all I need.”
This is the best phrase I keep repeating to truly let go. 💖
And let’s not forget—it’s not the restoration of the earthly marriage that matters most. What truly matters is continually building that relationship with Him, day after day. With gratitude and praise, as Merlin said so beautifully, we draw closer to His heart. 🎶
The happiest days were when I fully let go and only focused on my HH. I still think so fondly of those days even though to the rest of the world it looked like I lost everything. Continue to pursue this relationship with Him and everything will fall into place. He loves you so much!!

I understand you so well, Charis. I too deeply long to be madly in love with Him—even though I know I already love Him sincerely. But I can’t wait to feel that kind of love that is so vast, so pure, so powerful, it will transcend me, go beyond me. But that—only He can do it, in His perfect timing. In the meantime, we must keep spending more time with Him, seeking His promises in His Word, praising Him every day for all He does in our lives and for everything that happens to us—both good and bad. Singing Him songs of love and speaking with Him daily, whether through prayer or simple conversation!

I love to read how He alured us and how HE went on to transform us while in the restoration process, one that at the beginning we thought was only about our marrige but came to understand that it´s our restoration with our HH so he can prepare us for every trial coming our way and for us to be his bride down here and up there. Another thing I liked that you mentioned is how we sometimes think that the trials will come after the restoration but they are actually happening anytime He sees its needed, all we have to keep in our heart ay at all time is that He is all we need!!
