So this morning I made my way to the store to pick up some helium birthday balloons and a birthday card for a little girl named, Zoe, who just turned 10. Some friends and I had decided to do that drive by birthday parade that people have been creative to do during this time of social distancing.
I made my way there and the story I want to share with you is the fact that this store was a long a strip mall and I found myself going into the wrong store because I was preoccupied with my phone. When I saw myself entering this other store, I just felt like I was supposed to go in so I went in and of course I found the helium balloons and the birthday card that I needed but while I was on the isle debating about what birthday card to choose I overheard the cashier and a customer somewhat arguing over toilet paper and as the customer had wanted to purchase two packages but it's down to one per person/household.
I thought it was so amazing because in the city where I am right now, it's still very scarce to find toilet paper and the stores you have to get up very early to obtain some and so when I overheard that I was in complete AWE and I knew right then WHY my Heavenly Husband had wanted me to enter that store.
I made my way to the back and sure enough there was toilet paper and a really big package so I was able to take that to the front and purchase it along with the birthday decorations. It was just so amazing to see how I didn't know where I was going and if I had not listened to that subtle nudge of His Spirit leading me in there, I wouldn’t have known anything about the toilet paper and even you know that how God uses everything for good—overhearing that conversation.
I was just really blessed by that and I thought that it would bless you as well and just encourage you to tune into His leading because we never know what He has waiting for us and how He wants to bless us even in those little things that I love to give Him praise for.
