Dear Brides,
Many times we hear from other brides that they are getting double blessings but we are not always aware that this is something that happens in the life of everyone, the difference is that you need to pay attention in order to recognize them.
One of these days, we had many troubles at work with our websites. Many silly things were going on and some were a bit dangerous as well. However, our boss said while the problem was trying to fix that we needed to claim double blessing as due to the seriousness of the situation, we know something big (a breakthrough) is coming.
Early that morning, I talked to my Beloved and I said, well Lord, here I am claiming for my double blessing.
A bit later, that day the Lord led me to go to the supermarket to get something for my breakfast and I had in my mind to buy some instant drink powder packs but I completely forgot. When I got to the cashier before getting my amount to pay, the lady asked me if I wanted to purchase a box of 20 double powder packs with a plastic bottle for water for only $0,2 cents. That amount is so ridiculous that I had to reconfirm it because in my country there is nothing you can find with that price. I graciously accepted of course because I knew my Beloved was behind this.
That same day in the afternoon, my bottom teeth retainer had to be replaced urgently after being broken for more than 6 years. I never asked the orthodontist the price of the new one and when she finished she asked me to check the price with the secretary because she could not remember the amount. I agreed and went to pay for the service, the lady asked me what was the job they made and I explained about the retainer replacement and for her to check the price because the orthodontist could not remember. The secretary checked the list and told me it was $80. Honestly, I was not prepared to pay that amount but I said okay that is fine and suddenly the doctor got out of her consulting room and said to the secretary: "You know what? Although I can remember the price, please charge her as the regular maintenance appointment which is $25."
The secretary looked at me amazed because she could not believe what she heard and she said: Wow, you got your Christmas gift in advance. I was jumping with joy to see how the Lord gave me my double blessing the same day. For some this won't be much, but this is not about the money, it is about Him being faithful with His Word and with us asking to Him as per He says in Matthew 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened." or you can also see it on 1 John 5:14-15 "This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him."
So ladies I would like to encourage you to ask Him always for whatever you want and if it is His will, you will have it. If you have not experienced yet the Double blessing while in the trial, just try it and you will see His faithfulness.
