Podcast: Going Through My Parents Divorce πŸ’” while I was a little girl.

Hello my dear brides,
I came to this Ministry in despair due to my marital crisis as most of you. I was not aware at that moment that my Husband was the one rescuing me from the world because He wanted to restore my relation with him and that was the only way He found for it.
During this abundant life journey He has taken me to, I have seen his power to restore and work in the heart of some of my relatives that has taken my breath away.
I remember when He blessed me with the opportunity to translate the Facing Divorce book and I always saw it with lots of fear because I did not want to be in that place: “Facing Divorce”. We usually find resources for adults to face this process but we never talk about all that kids go through while their parents face divorce, which by the way it is my case.
I was born in a family who called themselves “believers” but we never went to church, ready the bible or had any spiritual foundation. I was 5 years old when my parents went through a divorce, my father had another women, my mother divorced him. He married the other women some years later and they had two children. I have blocked most of the pain caused by this Divorce for more than 4 decades and of because this Honeymoon opportunity, my Husband has called me to start my podcast about it in order to Heal me.
I am following his lead to record short podcasts every other day at least, but because I do not want to leave any space to the enemy to hold it back, here is the link to my playlist in case you think this will help you or will help someone you know is going through:

  1. My dear Poppy, thank you so much for sharing!!! This will help a lot of parents to understand what their kids are going through in order to help hem find healing through finding their Heavenly Dad!!

  2. Thank you my dear Poppy for sharing this, I am so grateful for finding this ministry before I “Faced Divorce” and went through my custody battle, because He really worked in my heart about not using the children as weapons to spite my fh and to lay down my desires and will for my children’s protection and well being. Not that it was always easy to do, I cried many nights at my HH feet, and if it wasn’t for Him, I would not have been able to do it.

And reading your story helps me to understand what the children go through during divorce and when a OW is involved.

I am currently writing my Custody Loss Novel to help other mother’s facing this. Here is the first two chapters:

    1. Thank you Adina for sharing your Novel, i have no doubt, our Husband will do amazing things with this. Every time I saw a kid or teen going through troubles I used to check if their parents went through a Divorce which was the case in 90% of the situations. I was able to share few things of what I lived but never in the way my Husband is taking me now and I am so happy that this could help others. That is the purpose of our lives, to use it to help others.

  3. Thank you for sharing Poppy my parents divorced when l was 18.. it left scars on all of us we are 6 children.. my one brother turned to drugs because both my parents did not want to shoulder the responsibility of their upbringing… l too have had to take the time to spend with my HH to find healing and to not blame them but to still honor them as my parents πŸ™ and yes many kids and teenagers that struggle in life most of the time is due to divorce.. I too would be divorced today if l did not make the decision to serve God who became my everything πŸ’–

This is a subject that definitely needs more attention I’m so glad you shared πŸ™

  4. My dear Poppy, thank you so much for sharing!!! When I am hurting in my marriage my flesh wants to run away. But when I go to my HH he reminds me that my pain is nothing comparing with the pain I would cause to my children. I am sure He will remind your story to many women to do not make a bad decision when their crises hit (including me) and so your pain will protect many children!!😍 saludos carino πŸ™‚

  5. Dear Poppy thank you for sharing. This will certainly help parents who want to understand what their children go through when facing this painful process. And we know that only He has the ability to help them.
