Dear brides, this Chapter 11 “Je t’aime Maman” was so difficult for me to accept, why was difficult to accept? Because I saw that I was not longing for my Beloved, and it is so sad. But it helped me see my errors, and helped me to see the changes that I need in my heart and life. And the only one that can help me is our Beloved Jesus.
I’ve been struggling with everything: I am jobless, don´t know what to do with my career, how much time I still need to wait, how can I work for the Lord, and so on, as you can see, none of my thoughts was about: ‘How He is, kind and Graceful, Wonderful’.
“The mind of man plans his way but the Lord directs his steps” (Proverbs 16:9).
I was only thinking about me. Compared to Him the other things are worthless. I know that it is not easy, the more that I want to let go, and not worry about, the more I start to think. But that is the time to renew our mind like we learned in the Course number two. So instead of dreaming about what will happen and how, or when I start to think about my problem to much, I ask for forgiveness and start a conversation with my Beloved, and start to think about a verse that I read during the day, or even the verses that I wrote in the 3×5 cards. The more space we give to Jesus in our mind, the less we will have to worry.
I confess that I waited two days to fill out this lesson. After I examined myself, I could see how attached I was still to my restoration. Believe me I still have faith that if is the will of the Lord that He can do at His time. But I am tired of living in the past, or dreaming about my future. I believe that we all started this journey searching our restoration, but if we remain with only this thought, we will never see or live what The Lord has prepared for us. The more we focus on the restoration, the more pain and sorrow we will feel.
“‘For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope’” (Jeremiah 29:11).
The more we focus on the Lord, the more joy, peace we will have. “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matt. 6:33. The Lord helped me see that is not only about restoration, but about everything in our lives that we worry about. I think that the more we worry about something, the bigger it will become.
Has this been a struggle or a desire of your heart? Then pray now with me: Lord please help me to see the opportunities that you put in my life, help me give You my worries, so that I can spend more time loving You. Help me Lord to make wise decisions, and to always above all things to Honor Your Name. Lord help me to work for your Kingdom during the time that I am awaiting your directions. Help me focus on You more than in my needs and wants. Teach me how to live the life that You have planned for me. Lord your will be done.
I want to focus more on the Lord, than On my worries. I want to encourage women to examine themselves first, and their thoughts, and see what is the most important thing or person in their lives. I want to trust in the Lord.
Dear Brides, I want to encourage you to put the Lord first in your heart, it is a honor to be called to serve Him, and it is a bigger honor be called His Bride. He is the one that matters, without Him we will continue to suffer, He is the only one that can satisfy the emptiness of your heart and soul.
This book Finding the Abundant Life shows how important the Lord should be in our lives, and how can we find this relationship with Him that lead us to an abundant life.
All that the Lord has for us are good things. So let’s Praise Him for His promises and Love.
