THANK YOU HEAVENLY FATHER

How can I ever thank our Heavenly Father enough.

My son is disabled and really has to work very hard in his school work and things we just sometimes accept as obvious, he has to work for. So his school work results come with a lot of learning and a lot of prayer because what will we do without our loving Father’s grace and help.

Psalm 121 (NIV) I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

This year my son asked that I must go and get his results because he was too scared of the outcome. I also feared a little because my son’s specialist said because of the brain damage he, he is struggling with maths.

And again our lovingly Father surprised us far more we can think or imagine, because our wonderful Heavenly Father helped that my son goes on to the next grade and I want to give God all the glory and honor.

  1. Janine it is so incredibly amazing to introduce a heavenly Father to the kids and share with them all the things He does so they can start building their faith. Because for us as human not everything is possible but with him nothing is impossible. Amen !
I am so happy to know your beautiful son was able to overcome all the difficulties at school and that he is going to the next level. Definitely a Praise for Him.
Hopefully this praise will help encourage the rest of the mums to share more praises about their kids and their relationship with their heavenly father.

  2. Thank you, Janine, He does so much more than we can ever hope or dream for. How He is providing for your son who is quickly turning into a young gentleman.

  3. Janine I know that God sent you here to help with the Afrikaans 🇿🇦 ministry, but this morning, I believe I saw something that can minister to so so many mothers and families. Could you speak to your husband, your maker out a weekly blog on https://homegrownministries.com/blog/ ?
Yvonne just started the blog yesterday but your ministry is clearly how to trust your son’s, heavenly father, who also just happens to be the ultimate Physician, to guide you through the lifelong journey of having a special needs child. I’d love to discover how many of the restore your marriage and wise woman principles you use while caring for your son and guiding his progress.
I may conclude that there are many of you, probably all of you that are here at Encouraging Women, for the very same reason— to be an encouraging women, but not just to the woman you come in contact with on a daily basis. But purposely with a special word for women are going through similar difficulties in their lives. This is the only reason God called you to travel whatever difficult journey you are on.
First is to know him as your husband, your maker, and for those who are mothers to be your children’s Heavenly Father. Next, it’s to turn around and encourage those following behind you which would you believe is the message in today’s December 19 streams in the desert!! Let me see if I can navigate from my phone and grab the link https://encouragingwomen.org/my-beloved-devotional-december-19/
Of course, it was easy! I already grabbed a “takeout breakfast” to share with my sister this morning.
Normally, I would ask you to let me know Janine but my plan is to “make the rounds” and visit all of our many blogs so I’ll have the opportunity to see if this is his plan.
Please just make it very informal, just writing from your heart because you are an extremely busy mom, and now minister. Besides, I prefer reading the raw and fresh and real blogs and comments and praises. I believe I speak for most of us. One more tip as a once very very busy mother. We didn’t have it back and my day when I had my hands full with seven children but voice typing is MIRACLE feature. I’ve been voice typing all morning, commenting, and posting one praise after another. So give it a try because the women/mothers, you’ll ultimately be ministering to will have no time, and probably no free hands to minister to other woman/mothers either.
Thank you, thank you again!! I’m so thankful you’re here to be part of our absolutely amazing Afrikaans team and RMI. 🤗

  4. Dear Poppy, Yvonne and Erin

So sorry that I missed these posts, please forgive me.
I am so grateful te be part of RMI and the Afrikaans team.
I would love to do that, because when I think back my Heavenly Husband has not one day forsaken me or my kids, they are so fortunate to have a Heavenly Father.
Thank you for making me part of the ministry and all letting me feel so welcome.
I one day said to Yvonne, I always wondered what is my purpose in life, for the first time I feel I really have a purpose.
