My precious brides, I want to share this testimony with you to encourage you to let our Heavenly Husband take full control, even in the details of our daily lives. For a few weeks now, my Heavenly Husband has been calling me to clear my house and take on certain jobs that I never imagined I would be able to do: sanding and repainting my dining room table, doing the same with a shoe cabinet... and much more. So I began to tidy up, organize, and clean my entire dining room and other rooms in the house, under His direction. It was wonderful to hear His voice whispering in my ear, guiding me step by step. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." โ€”Philippians 4:13

After this big cleanup, I had accumulated more than six trash bags, boxes, and various pieces of waste to throw away. So we had to go to the landfill. With the help of my eldest son, we loaded the car under a scorching sun, as it is very hot here at this time. When we arrived, great disappointment: the landfill was closed due to the heat. Tired, we decided to leave everything in the car and return home. I thought we could return on Saturday, according to the schedules I had consulted and those of my son. On Friday, our Husband reminded me to check the car. So I asked my son to go see if everything was okay (remember we had left all that junk in the trunk and in the back seat). When he came back, after a few seconds, he told me that the car smelled very, very bad. What an idea of mine to tell him that we would not discharge anything and that we would leave everything there from Wednesday to Saturday! I ย was distressed and stressed, not knowing what to do, since I had never been to the landfill. On Saturday morning I woke up praising my Heavenly Husband, proclaiming His greatness, His Love, and His goodness. And then, spontaneously, I said to him: "My Lord you told the people of Israel that every place that treads on the sole of their foot would be theirs. Then my foot has stepped on my car: it is a blessed place that You have given me. It can't smell bad, it can't smell like garbage! I have faith in You, I know You will answer me."

Then my son and I got ready, got out, and I opened the car door. My heart was beating very fast, for I had not told my son my prayer that morning. Dear wives, our Heavenly Husband is truly wonderful! The car smelled absolutely nothing! It was amazing! In addition, I had asked him to help me in the dump, to put someone in my path to guide me. When I arrived, I told the person in charge that I didn't have the access card because my spouse did. He replied, "No problem, just give me your name." Then he explained everything to me and, before leaving, he added: "I'm here if you need anything." As I heard those words, I really felt that it was my Heavenly Husband speaking to me. Everything went perfectly and when I returned, my son even told me that he felt that the house had a different atmosphere! I praise my Lord for all the experiences I have.

The most beautiful thing is that He ย made me start the "Workers @ Home" courses. And all this cleaning also inspired my son to completely clear his room.

  1. Dear Jewel, this is a great praise. I also have been clearing my house once again. My Husband and I have done this a few times before during our journey and I believe this time is the best of all that has created a whole new atmosphere. My children have been switching bedrooms and organizing their bedrooms. They gave alot of things to each other and brought out alot of bags for donation to give to others My oldest son took a load of things to the landfill one afternoon. Then my second son took in another load a few days later. We cleared alot of things out of the back yard and the house. We have been repairing alot of things around the house and deep cleaning/giving the bathrooms a makeover. Thank you for sharing, this has encouraged me to read Workers @ Home as well.
