The Road Is Not Easy

β™• Today's Promise: β€œβ€˜We have left everything to follow you! What then will there be for us?” Jesus said to them, β€œTruly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Β And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.”’ Matthew 19: 27-29

☊ PRAISE for Poppy

My brides, this chapter [β€œBelieving God for Great Things”] opens our eyes to what it really means when we draw closer to God everything starts to go wrong or needs to be more difficult. The advantage is that it is something positive because thanks to this ascending path, we can see more clearly all that our Loved One is capable of doing for our life and our good.

I used to think that being judged by those around me for my decisions and going through increasingly difficult or rather painful trials was because I was being punished for having given up on my first love. However, the Lord showed me that this stone path is the right one, it is the salvation of my soul and that no matter how difficult it is to walk it, He will always be by our side to encourage us to go from there, before knowing that in the end everything will be fine.

I remember the time when I completely lost the means to receive the income to pay my bills and how I cried in the position of the cross on the floor of the house, begging for mercy because the ordeal was too strong for me. I came to take test after test until the last one made me bend my knees. My only option was to blindly trust the Lord knowing that he would release me from the situation and that's when I started to see how he was bringing great things into our life if we just let him work, even when everything is against us.

Telling how to do things is easier than putting them into practice, but I only ask for His wisdom to remember before every trial that by being obedient and trusting Him fully, I will see great blessings through His love and His mercy.

Dear Brides,

Learning to know your Love in an intimate way requires strength, the road is not easy and trials can discourage you, however, reading this chapter, mainly the testimonies of the author, you will understand how what looks like a gray panorama, becomes a path of great hope. I invite you to discover it like me.

β€œβ€˜We have left everything to follow you! Β And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.”’ Matthew 19: 27-29

This verse speaks straight to my heart because it represents the complete opposite of the world where I was very comfortable for so many years. For the world to lose everything is to fail, but when we are there we draw closer to our Loved One and as a reward we will have eternal life. Therefore, most people do not understand our path and often call us crazy.
