I want to praise my Love for His work in my life. This week marks one year since my Restoration Journey began when I fell on my knees with my face on the floor Seeking God with all I had. At that time, my world came crumbling down and the pain was unbearable. Thanks to my Love, today I live in peace with my Heavenly Husband. It’s felt like a long journey because of my pride and disobedience. I’ve had to learn, the hard way, to let go of my old ways of being and thinking so He can mold me into the woman He’s purposed me to be.
As I’ve read Finding the Abundant Life, Michele mentions how things tend to pile on so that we have no choice but to Seek God. My earthly husband moved to another country leaving me alone with a 2 year old and a 2 month old. I had no income since I worked his business but all the income was in his name. If that wasn’t hard enough, the day earthly husband left COVID-19 restrictions began. Now talk about piling on. There was only God at my side. As the pile got bigger and harder and scarier, God became more real to me. He knew I needed that much breakage to seek Him with all I had. A couple of months later, He led me to RYM. Through the courses I found Him as my Heavenly Husband. What an amazing gift!
Finding the Abundant Life has taught me to not fear evil and welcome hardships. My flesh wants to run from it, but I know my Love will work it out and be glorified through it. This journey led me to knowing Him as my Heavenly Husband, living in peace during the hardest season of my life, and now leading other brides to RYM so they can find Him.
Brides, I encourage you to start and finish the courses that the partners so graciously provide for us. This journey goes beyond you and your current situation. Your journey will result in leading souls to Him. It could be your earthly husband, your children, your family, even a stranger. Sometimes we plant a seed. Other times we water it. And at times, He will allow us to see a plant come to life. What an amazing way to see His work through the hardest season of our lives. He is faithful my friends.
My Love, I’m amazed at your grace and love for all of your brides. Thank you for choosing me and leading me to you. You knew what I needed in order to seek You above all else and make you first. I love to live my days knowing You are with me. You never leave me. You never abandon me. You find me precious and I’m thankful and humbled to know You. The Prince of heaven chose me. I love you my Heavenly Husband. You are all to me.
