TUESDAYS: Training Teaching Tuesdays “Just DO IT”

When I asked my Beloved what He wanted me to share today, He led me to look back over the work we accomplished last week to see what lessons I could draw from it. I don't mean the "technical" way of doing something, but rather what He has been teaching me as I walk this journey with Him.

He brought me to this message from Erin:

"Great, well done! How can we encourage other MOMs to simply do it? Take the next step! Less discussion, fewer suggestions, and let's do it together! Wouldn't it be wonderful to see everyone using their God-given talents and unleashing their passions?"

As I reflected on this, I realized there are so many ways we're challenged to walk by faith. Fear can easily contaminate both our service and our walk with the Lord. Yet, in the middle of it all, He faithfully teaches us through the everyday situations we encounter. That's why I treasure these moments of reflection, when I can examine my actions, attitudes, and motivations, renewing my mind as I listen to Him speak to my heart. This is why I believe it is so important to keep a journal with Him.

This time, my Beloved led me to reflect on the fear we often feel when we're asked to do something we've never done before or something for which we don't feel "trained." Have you ever felt anxious about what might happen? I often find myself asking, "What if I make a mistake? What if I'm not hearing my Beloved clearly? What if this isn't what I'm supposed to do?"

Sometimes my greatest fear isn't making a mistake—it's not hearing Him correctly. Because of that, I've often chosen not to take the step, to wait, to ask again, or even wait for one confirmation... then a second confirmation. But what is it that's really holding me back?

I believe it's the fear of failure. After all, if He is compassionate, isn't it often the response of man that we fear? Whether it's your boss at work or your earthly husband, if you make a mistake, you may think you'll have to face the consequences. But what does He say?

"When a man's ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him."¹

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God."²

"The Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts³... He rewards each person according to their conduct and according to what their deeds deserve."⁴

How kind my Beloved is! He understands my journey and patiently helps me, little by little, to let go and take more steps of faith.

There have also been many times when perfectionism caused me to review my work over and over again. I would delay completing tasks because I kept finding things to fix, which slowed down projects and only increased my anxiety. But He gently led me to stop correcting everything a thousand times and simply let go. That has brought me so much peace.

I've learned that even when I make mistakes, He always has a way to redeem them. Either there's something that can still be done, or He simply uses it for good and teaches us a better way. Discovering an error can certainly be uncomfortable, but He is the Master of Restoration. Nothing is impossible for Him! What matters most is that we act with a pure heart.

"The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe."⁵

At times I've gone from one extreme to the other, but somewhere along the journey He's helped me find balance.

So I hope this post encourages you to reflect on your own motivations whenever you choose to ask—or not ask... to wait... to avoid... to discuss... to make suggestions... but never actually step out in faith. After all, "faith without works is dead."⁶

Today, just as He is encouraging me, I want to encourage you to trust what He is speaking to your heart. Today I feel inspired to walk by faith and no longer fear failure, because I know He will rescue me even if I fail. He sees the intentions of my heart.

So simply trust what He tells you:

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."⁷

  1. Hello, dear ladies. I am so happy to be here and so grateful that I was led to this ministry some time ago. It has been beautiful to see how our Beloved has guided every change here so perfectly.

For a while, I stopped following the posts every day because of the obstacles along the way and the difficulties I was having accessing the site. But today, thanks to Him, here I am! I’m so happy to discover that it’s actually very easy—I simply needed to wait and trust.

Thank You, my Love. ❤️ You are all I want, all I need, and the reason for my life.

Let me share with you the joy of being able to stop and read this post and realize that my Beloved is speaking directly to my heart. He is speaking about every situation I’m facing right now as I try to solve everything in my own strength.

I can clearly hear Him saying, **”Are you uncertain? Are you afraid? Are you desperate? Wait!”**

I truly needed to be here today.

Thank You, my Beloved, for the abundance of Your grace and Your love. My heart overflows with joy knowing that I have You and that I can always turn back to You. **You are my everything.** ❤️
