A day or so after the Missing TUESDAY Post, during one of the many hours we spend outside, no phone, just us—He showed me it was time to LET GO since it didn't appear to be an opportunity but a burden. This was confirmed with the comments. To be honest, I assumed I would quickly add something, but I didn't expect to abruptly change to a new Category on the Menu.

Now it makes sense why the logos and why He's changing direction.

Ever since I responded to an email from a very competent, outstanding volunteer about being available on WhatsApp for a code, I went ahead and scheduled an alarm, but I’ve continued to feel uneasy about the whole plan.
The reason is that I’ve tried my best to explain how important it is that when I see something and bring it to your attention or anyone else’s attention, I’m not assigning a task or giving instructions. Instead, I’m sharing an observation He’s pointed out and inviting someone to volunteer if they feel led to do so.
The purpose of volunteering is important. First, I want your heart to be in it. This isn’t meant to be a way to earn money or simply complete a project. More importantly, it isn’t about following my instructions or trying to figure things out on your own.
When I share something, I’m simply passing along what I’ve observed when He pointed it out and what my Husband has led me to share. He has instructed me to bring it to one of you and see whether you want to volunteer. Beyond that, the responsibility isn’t to follow me—it is to follow Him.
Remember He said, “Apart from Me, you can do nothing.” The entire purpose of any of this is to create opportunities for you to spend more time with your Husband, to know Him more intimately, and to allow Him to show you things He may never show me. He has things He wants to reveal directly to each of you, not just me.
That only happens when we come to the end of ourselves and honestly say, “I have no idea what Erin is talking about. I don’t know how to do this. I can’t figure it out.”
When you reach that place, instead of trying harder, stop. Close your computer. Put away your phone. Find a quiet place and wait on Him. Often that’s when He begins showing me one thing, then another, and then another. I rarely know the answer ahead of time. He leads me step by step, and only then does it work and I’m AMAZED.
So, I’m happy to give you the code and let you move forward with it. Maybe that’s exactly what’s needed. Or maybe changing the YouTube channel isn’t the answer at all. Maybe the real answer is something entirely different.
What we do know is that He “works all things together for good.” If you move forward with this, it may be because it needs to be done. But the greater purpose may not become clear until later in the journey.
Ultimately, the goal is to bring us into greater unity and to provide spiritual nourishment, encouragement, and truth to women in every language. Right now, YouTube offers opportunities for that. There are requirements, such as building followers, and there are other things I’ve shared in blog posts that is on an upcoming Encouraging Bookstore blog post. But even then, I don’t always know exactly where we’re headed because I’m not the one driving.
It’s similar to when I’m riding in the car with one of my children who is driving. I don’t focus on how they’re driving or tell them every turn to make. Instead, I enjoy the conversation and trust them to do what they’re responsible for doing.
Recently, I was riding with my younger son, whose driving I’m less familiar with, and I found myself pointing things out. Every time I did, I was wrong. It reminded me that we need to keep our eyes on Him and trust Him to lead.
Sometimes the journey doesn’t look like it’s leading directly to the final destination. But that’s not the point. The point is to follow Him faithfully, one step at a time.
I hope that by recording these thoughts and having them cleaned up and translated for you, they’ll resonate with your heart.
One more thing: please don’t keep these thoughts to yourself. As much as I appreciate helping individuals directly, I’ve moved beyond one-on-one tutoring. When my Husband shows me something, I want it shared so that everyone can benefit.
In fact, this may become the first post for the new Training Tuesday format. I would love your feedback, your experiences, what your Husband shows you, and any insights you receive. Those things can encourage and train not only those serving in the ministry, but women everywhere—whether they’re caring for their homes, working in a job, ministering to others, or simply seeking to follow Him in their daily lives.
We’re all learning the same lesson: not how to accomplish tasks, but how to walk with Him, work with Him, and allow Him to lead us for greater intimacy.
