w@h “My Mom was a Stay@Home Mom”

Dear Brides, If you are a career woman like me and all you grew up to know is to be independent then this Week 1 Intro 1 β€œThat Too Perfect Proverbs 31 Woman!” is for you especially if you have a family. I grew up in a home where my mom was a stay at home mom. As a family, we hated my mom for not working because we were poor we never saw the benefits of her being at home or how she saved us money by sewing. I suppose the biggest problem was that we just did not know the truth of God's word.

Right now I am a working mother but I am trusting my HH to one day be a stay at home mum. But for now, I have learned from this Lesson to trust His wisdom,Β  guidance, and anointing in even the most mundane of tasks I need doing at home.

I learned so much from this Lesson and feel like I should have read this book long ago. I learned that He IS the vine & that I am the branch and that even in the mundane tasks of being a wife and mother as I go about my day I am connected to Him. And because of this connection, I will bear the fruit of a clutter-free home.

John 15:5 "I am the vine, you are the branches, he who abides in Me & I in Him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing."

I am a career woman and just hearing the title Workers@Home I was not interested. I grew up in a poor family with a stay at home mum and we were six kids. We were very disgruntled and angry because we did not have everything we needed and learned as young girls to go out and work for what we needed even the basic things a girl needs. How wrong we were and how much God had to work on my heart and through the truth of his word learned through this ministry I had to learn. This book is teaching me the truth. What the enemy used to harm me God is turning it around for my good.

Being a working mother and wife right now this book has taught me to bring even the mundane task like spring cleaning before God to gain his wisdom, strength, and anointing to carry it out effort-free!

Proverbs 31:27 "She looks well to the ways of her household, & does not eat the bread of idleness.

As a wife and mother, this is a God-given calling and what I need to strive for with the help of my HH.

I learned that I must encourage my son one day to find a Proverbs 31 wife and that she is as rare as precious stones but nothing is impossible for God.

I previously did not even try being a Proverbs 31 Women because I knew I fell horribly short... But I also learned that there is nothing I need to do to please Him. He loved me even when I didn't love him, even when I was a sinner. That all he wants is my heart and to simply be His bride. Happy!! And that all I have to do is simply talk to my HH about my plans and ideas so that He can make it happen! I don't have to do anything in my own strength. He is my HH that loves it when I talk to Him, he doesn't get tired of me & gives me the best advice!

Since reading this Week 1 Intro 1 β€œThat Too Perfect Proverbs 31 Woman!” I have learned many truths that there is not-one-thing I have to do to please Him but that He has my entire heart. He died for me even when I was a sinner & did not deserve it. These truths have freed me from all guilt to come into His presence freely to ask for His help & advice whereas before I would do what needed to be done feeling no accomplishment.

Finding the link to the Workers@Home Course has been a godsend because I know that it is going to be an enormous blessing in my life. I don't believe I was ready before or during the time God restored my marriage to be a Worker@HomeΒ but God has placed a desire for me to stay at home with my kids and to minister to hurting women.

Don't be scared to do this chapter and seek Him to embrace all the plans He has for you because they are good and beyond anything you could dream or imagine.? I am excited about what I have learned and can't wait to do the next chapter!!!
