Why you are Faced with Difficulties and Hardships

Dear Brides: If you are facing a difficulty or trial of any kind then you need to be reading this Chapter 1 “Could this be His Plan?” It will give you so much faith and understanding and then you will know that all you need to do is press into Him to see why He is stretching you. You will learn why you can become excited by being stretched by Him. Why a difficult situation or trial is meant for your good?

What I have come to understand by reading this chapter is that God is my Father in Heaven and that He is the one who stretches me and that the reason He stretches me is in order to teach me to increase my faith and so that I can grow in faith. My HH is His Son and the One who loves me, cherishes me and adores me and wants me to run to Him so that He can help me and love me. He wants to solve all my problems and take care of me. He is the One who wants to shower me with gifts and love and wonderful things!!

Growing up especially in my teen years I had a very rocky relationship with my Dad. In the years before my parents got divorced I despised and said horrible things to him which I later learned was not honoring him. Due to the fact that he wasn’t there and not being able to provide for me not only financially but emotionally too (even though we lived in the same home) I don’t think I ever really knew what the love and provision of a Father was and I think that is why before I got married I was always desperate to be in a relationship, maybe I was looking for that emotional bond and provision I did not have with my Dad and to be provided for.

Now I know the role that my Father in Heaven plays. That He is the One who stretches me in order to be blessed. And He is the One who is stretching me now by allowing me to remember the relationship with my dad and my past so that He can bless my future relationship with my Dad and with Him as my Heavenly Father. We truly serve an awesome God who gave us His son. I am convinced that as we seek Him and tap into all that He has to offer us with faith like a child that He is then able to heal every area of our lives that needs healing.

I will be living out these principles by realizing when I am going through a trial or a difficulty that I can rejoice! Knowing that there is something wonderful up ahead, knowing that I am about to be blessed!!

Deuteronomy 32:4 The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.

In this verse β€œHis work is perfect” stands out for me the most. So no matter where He sends me or what He asks me to do or how far or how much He stretches me I can know that His work is perfect, β€œHis ways are just”. He has the perfect plan with the perfect outcome. Emphasis on the word perfect!

Habakkuk 1:5 β€œLook among the nations! Observe! Be astonished! Wonder! Because I am doing something in your daysβ€” You would not believe if you were told”

This scripture just excites me to see what He has in store for me. It is something I could never imagine!

Dear Brides: Do not become disheartened if you face a fiery trial or if your life is not going according to what you dreamed of growing up or how you planned. If this is how you feel then you need to be reading this Chapter 1 “Could this be His Plan?” so that you can understand why He has allowed you to go through what you are going through.

This book is titled Living the Abundant Life but funny how the writer writes about being stretched in the very 1st chapter of the book. But isn’t that how we feel in our daily lives? Stretched? I know personally, I feel stretched regularly but reading the very 1st chapter of this book gave me insight and an understanding of how to approach the situation and seek my HH for the stretching to become a blessing! Also is that not what we do when we are stretched? We run to Him. Reading this chapter will give you more insight into why you are faced with difficulties and hardships.
