I Made Up My Mind to Do Nothing

♕ Today's Promise: “They that wait upon the Lord, will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

Dear Brides, is there something that you have been praying for but you just cannot understand why the Lord has not answered yet? Why you are still waiting? Then you need to come and read this chapter [God's Waiting Room]! 🙂

He has taught me that waiting on Him is so much lighter and easier than running off and doing things in my own strength where I would fret and worry. I used to always try to fix my problems in the flesh and it caused me to lose my peace and worry more.

But wow \o/ I will always remember clearly the very first time I made up my mind TO DO NOTHING. Praying and telling my HH (Heavenly Husband) that I would NOT DO A THING. Because I trusted Him I WOULD DO NOTHING. He came through for me in an AMAZING way.

I guess that is what the writer is trying to encourage us to do. When we are waiting in the waiting room to sit and think about a time when our HH (Heavenly Husband) came through for us and answered our prayers. To think about ALL the miracles He has done for us!! \o/

I understand that there is an appointed time, apart from HIM I can do nothing and that every good and perfect gift is from above.

EH (earthly husband) and I have been discussing owning our own home, where we live it is very hot so my son has been praying for a home with a pool. I am happy but it is not my hearts desire. I have been praying and trusting the Lord for a long time that the next place we live is in our own home because we have been renting since we got married.

Having read this chapter [God's Waiting Room] I am feeling excited because my HH (Heavenly Husband) timing is perfect.

I will be living out this principle by remembering that I am in a waiting room, waiting for His appointed time and by sharing with others that the Lord indeed does hear our prayers but has an appointed time and that when that time comes the victory is so much sweeter and will lead us to glorify Him more and share with others our miracle!

Dear Brides, this chapter reminded me of ALL the wonderful things my HH (Heavenly Husband) did for me when I WAITED on HIM. Being in the Waiting Room is actually a great place to be in because as we wait we can reflect on the wonderful things our HH has done for us and look forward to our appointed time with excitement knowing that He always fulfills His promises \o/

“They that wait upon the Lord, will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31

I love this verse because I used to be a person that was in hurry to fix things in my own strength, I would do whatever I could, like make hundreds of phone calls to get something fixed or to find a solution but now I have learned that waiting on the Lord is also important.
