  1. I’m kind of lost or my restoration journey and unfortunately I can’t really find an answer. My marriage has gotten to divorce. It’s my first marriage but it’s my wife’s second marriage. Her first marriage ended in divorce. Because she was married once before do I even have biblical grounds for restoration? My heart says stand, my mind says no.

    1. Dear Dave,

I can feel the weight of your heart, the questions swirling in your mind, and the pain of walking through what feels like the end of something sacred. You’re not alone. So many have stood where you stand β€” confused, torn, and wondering if restoration is even possible.

But I want to gently remind you of something powerful:
β€œNothing is impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37)

Even when everything looks final in the natural, God sees beyond what we can see. He knows the full story β€” yours, hers, and the journey ahead. Your heart longs to stand, and that desire is not small or foolish. It could very well be God Himself whispering, β€œTrust Me.”

Yes, your wife was previously married, and yes, the road looks complicated. But God specializes in the impossible, the broken, the hopeless. He is a God of redemption, and He hears you. Your tears, your prayers, your questions β€” they are not ignored. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

I want to encourage you to visit a place that has brought hope and direction to many men who are walking a similar path:

You’ll find testimonies, resources, and truth grounded in Scripture to help you walk this journey with courage and faith.

Don’t give up. Keep bringing your questions to the Lord. He is not done with your story β€” in fact, He may just be getting started.
