I wanted to share something exciting my HH orchestrated and I know it was all HIM that made it possible. My son is attending the University and at various times he mentioned about wanting to go to Europe to visit. At first he would make plans to go to a specific country like Spain and then it was Germany, but plans always fell through. I always wanted to say yes, but financially wasn’t able to. I never told him this, but it always worked in a way that it just didn’t work out so it never came to that point. For example, his friends would cancel or other local plans came up.
Well in August he was visiting and we were at my mother’s house. He mentioned again about wanting to go to Europe and how he is graduating this upcoming May. This time he mentioned he wanted to go by himself and perhaps this time go to multiple countries. Well, mommy mode shifted and I wasn’t thrilled about the idea of him going alone. My mother has traveled all over the world and together, I said let’s make a plan and see what happens. So at that time he mentioned about a tour company that focuses on College students, so he would be going “alone” but not really because it was a large group. My mother looked at the details and was surprisingly shocked on how economical this 5-week trip was and visiting 14 cities!! He would not only be visiting one or two countries, but multiple, more than he ever dreamed of.
Well, my mom right away said she would pay for his down payment, and although I was very grateful, I said let’s talk to daddy, my EH, and in my heart I really wanted to talk to my HH!!
his was a big trip and big expense, but I SG and if it was His will He would make it happen. We spoke to my EH and he agreed that this would be a great trip for his graduation and once he started working it would be difficult to take so much time off. SO, in faith, we told our son to go ahead and put in the down payment, which my mom gave to him, and we would make the monthly payments.
The following week a check came in the mail and it was for the exact amount we needed for the first monthly payment. It was so unexpected that I even called the company to see if they had made a mistake and they reassured me that it was monies owed to us. WOW, I called my son jumping for joy on how the LORD had provided for the first monthly payment!!
I am in awe how HE gives the desires of the heart and provides in ways unimaginable. Since then He has provided for every payment and I am so thankful we were able to give this gift to our son.
