Stolen Car was Recovered by the Police!!

Today I NEED to PRAISE MY HH! My dear AWESOME LORD, PROVIDER, MY EVERYTHING!

I told myself this morning that I would not let this day go by without writing and submitting a Praise Report! My dear HH has been soooo good to me this month, I have such JOY in my heart, I’m smiling from ear to ear. I am SOOO HAPPY!!!

Where do I even start? He never STOPS blessing me, He never stops showing me His goodness.

Even when I doubt… πŸ™ Yes, I doubted at times πŸ™ I would think up ways that I could get myself out of trouble, ways that I could provide what my kids and I needed while their Dad was away… Even though I was standing on this word that the Lord gave me I still doubted at times…

Psalm 9: 10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

But I PRAISE God! πŸ™‚ He is sooo faithful, even when I could not see, He had it all worked out all along!

A couple of months ago our car was stolen outside our workplace. We had just purchased this car 2 months prior and we did not have a vehicle for a WHOLE year prior to the purchase of this vehicle. It was a difficult time taking public transportation to work and at times I would get to work late and be warned my Teamleader for latecoming… As I said, our car got stolen, wow what a horrible feeling… Because of the type of car it was – here in Africa, taxi’s are used as a mode of public transport – people said that our car was probably stolen to have the engine removed and put into a taxi…

And you know what? I actually lost all hope that this car would be recovered…. But today I want to tell you never, never listen to a bad report because you NEVER know what God is up to! So yes, I lost all hope that this car would be recovered and I am ashamed to say I never really prayed or spoke to God about it either… Until one day I came across a devotion that spoke about speaking to God about everything and talking to Him in the night watches.

PSALM 63:6 When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.

So this one morning I was alone at home and I decided to speak to God about this car after being encouraged by this devotion, so I told my dear HH that we really needed that car, that it was so hard taking public transportion, getting late to work, not being able to take the kids to the beach or do our grocery shopping etc. πŸ™‚

My HH is soooo good because at about 10h00 that same morning I spoke to my HH I received a call from my EH to say that the car was recovered by the Police!! πŸ™‚ Many, many people have told us that when their car was stolen it was never recovered and how “lucky” we were that the police had actually found it. I say “We are BLESSED!” I say we serve a GREAT and AWESOME HH, Lord, Saviour, Redeemer who takes care of us and provides ALL of our needs even when things look bad in the natural and we get a bad report He is UP TO SOMETHING!

Philippians 4:6-7 AMP “Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].”

I memorized these verses many many years ago and I want to say that God has stayed true to His Word, He has never ever changed but always stayed the same, Faithful to His Promises!!!

Ministry Note

Atarah has been faithful tithing to her storehouse and as promised, He rebuked the devourer!!! Even when tested, she wrote to us and found a way. She wrote, β€œPS. Due to my husband asking me to tithe to our local church where we go, I have not submitted a tithe for this, but I will prayerfully seek God regarding offerings to RMI.”Β
