Small Moments Where I See His Love for Me

“The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.” Psalm 121:5, KJV

I just have to give praise to my Beloved for His wonderful covering and refreshment that I just experienced. So much of my day is joyfully spent serving the beautifully large family that He has blessed me with. But, lately, I have been so tired and just in dire need of rest and refreshment. I am SO thankful that our Beloved steps in and just blesses us with what we need—just when we need it!!!

This evening I was experiencing just a massive headache and after dinner, I fell asleep on the couch while nursing my youngest son to sleep. An hour later, I awoke to my oldest daughter covering me with a blanket and kissing me on my cheek and telling me that she took care of “the littles.” The littles is an endearing term that she uses when she is referring to her younger siblings (minus the baby). She showered each of them and put them to bed, and not only was it a huge help for me, but it was such a sweetest gesture. While I was thanking both her and my Beloved, I realized that I woke up with not only renewed energy but my headache was also gone. PTL!!

It is small moments like this where I see His love for me fully illustrated. He knew what I needed and just stepped in and provided and I am SO grateful. Now, I have enough strength, energy, and mental clarity to complete the remainder of my evening tasks. Thank you so much, and I just praise you because you are SO amazing to me! 🙂

I lift up my eyes to the mountains—

where does my help come from?

My help comes from the Lord,

the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip—

he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel

will neither slumber nor sleep.

The Lord watches over you—

the Lord is your shade at your right hand;

the sun will not harm you by day,

nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—

he will watch over your life;

the Lord will watch over your coming and going

both now and forevermore.
