With Him I Am Capable of Everything

☊ PRAISE from Yvonne

I am so thankful for how much the Lord loves us that He takes the time to answer even all the little questions. We are almost done with our first year of homeschooling, can you believe it!!! And I have many times expressed my concern about whether I am doing it right. There are certain things I mark that of course can only have a right or wrong answer. The hard thing is the oral and the essays and so on. I'm their mom, so am I really objective when I mark things?

These are the kind of questions I ask my Heavenly Husband when I sit alone with Him, but to be honest, these are just conversations I have with Him, I do not expect Him to answer me. Hahahaha, this is definitely one of the nicest things about my Heavenly Husband. I can chat as much as I want and He listens patiently πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

Of course, He is so wonderful that He does answer us. This weekend I was invited to have coffee at a friend's place. There I met for the first time her daughter-in-law who is a teacher. She then talked about one of the children in her class who would fail his language by a few marks and if you fail a language in our country, you fail your grade, no matter how good the other subjects are. She then told how they had to move up his oral marks so that he could only get those extra marks he needs to get through.

What? If this is the story of one teacher, how many more such stories are out there. When I drove home, the Lord reminded me of our conversation and then I just felt so much peace knowing that we did not do things like that at home at all. The feeling of am I enough? Can I do this? Everything disappeared in that moment, because He showed me, NO, I cannot, but with Him I am capable of everything.

And of course you know that He always does more than we ask for. I told Ian (my former husband) the story and showed him the kids' new books for next year and then he said it all looks so professional and he thinks I'm doing a very good job with homeschooling them. Hahaha, of course I do not need a compliment from him, but it was nice that my Heavenly Husband did it for me.

If there are little things in your life today that you are wondering about, talk to Him and tell Him everything, He likes to listen.
