One Trial After Another

☊ PRAISE from Kristine

Dear Bride, how wonderful is my Heavenly Father and Husband. I'm glad He's holding me as I go through one trial after another. And even though I have made many mistakes during the periods, He is so kind and full of love to encourage me and open my eyes to the amazing changing things that are happening in my life and that of my family members. Even in the lives of my former in-laws. It's amazing the transformation that's there that has brought you even closer to Him.

I am thankful to Him and praise Him for His love and grace. He is the only one who has given me strength and wisdom to rebuild in me the piece that should have been broken, but this time on the foundation of His Word.

This morning like i daily always do i read the daily devotion "Beloved"

β€œArise, shine; for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1

Beloved, let your light shine before God and men this morning. Let the spirit take out the man who believes though he sees not, for he knows in Whom his trust is! Let others - and the world - see His glory over you, for it is He who must be glorified.

You did nothing. He knows everything about now and about your future. He can answer any question. He alone can make any change. Believe and see how He works and what He does for you if you give Him all the space.

Why should you be despondent? He has not left you and has not forsaken you. It is He and He alone is the reason we move and have our existence. β€œArise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”

Except that He daily provides me spiritually with His wisdom and encouragement through this book of "Beloved Devotions". Is He faithful to encourage me that His Word is true and that I can always trust that He will do what He has said.

Through His love I may see and hear the fruits that His Word and my faith in it produces. At the beginning of this year I knew that great things were going to happen. I believe that. A third of the year has already passed and besides that He blesses me to have the abundant life by teaching me the principles.

And in fulfilling one wish after another in my heart, I also got to hear from my former brother-in-law that a dear nephew, who has gone through some difficult years, is now a churchgoer along with his family. And now I don't mean to say it was because of something I would have done, but He knows what I've asked Him during the many hours that my tears rolled down my cheeks. And He is faithful to His Word. I had a beautiful and encouraging conversation with my former brother-in-law about the wonderful things my Lord has done and continues to do in my life.

He has also given me another opportunity to have a conversation with my former husband. And you might say, what's so special about that, but thinking back to the many times when I behaved like a contentious, controlling wife who always wanted to have her own way in doing so destroyed my own life and that of my family. Because even in the many conversations in which I then lectured my former husband, manipulation was very common for me.

But fortunately, because of His love and patience that changes me, I can have a pleasant conversation. I am very thankful to Him that He broke me to the point that I had no place to go. And I had to surrender myself to Him. The joy and peace I felt after the conversation only comes from Him.

But even in my own family He is growing fruit. And it is only because He loves us so much that He has chosen us to be a testimony to others of His love and character. Because without Him I can do nothing, I need Him. I have nothing of myself....luckily because otherwise I would never have met this wonderful Man. He helps me every time I have a hard time. And this week when I had a difficult moment in contact with my daughter I was allowed to show through His love that His grace and love is all I need every day ❀️.

"Those who sow with tears shall reap with joy. He goes on weeping, who carries the seed-bag; surely he will come with shouting, carrying his sheaves." Psalm 126:5-6

No matter how many tears may fall, for yourself, family or anything else, know that He catches them all and is faithful to answer your prayers.

"But without faith it is impossible to please (Him). For whoever comes to God must believe that He exists and is a rewarder of those who earnestly seek Him." Hebrews 11:6

-faith is the key word for miracles to manifest.

"As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in me, as I in him, bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing." John 15:4-5
