I am so excited to share my praise with you this morning! My Husband is so good to me! He knows and grants the desires of my heart!
So often I donโt think the things He does for me are things that anyone would care to read about. Sometimes they are things that are so specific to me, that it would be hard to explain why such a little thing is cause for such praise from my heart. But this is just too big not to share!
For many years my family took an annual beach vacation, and one of our favorite places to go was Hilton Head Island. My daughter would bring a friend and we would ride bikes all around the island, play putt-putt golf, go for ice cream and spend hours at the beach relaxing or playing in the ocean. These vacations are generally very expensive and were a significant financial indulgence. Now that I am in quite a different financial circumstance, I didnโt expect to be able to take such an extravagant vacation. This morning I am sitting on the island in a beautiful condo that my Husband provided for free!
My incredible Husband arranged for the timing to be perfect, to be able to take an amazing vacation! My daughter lives just a few hours away from Hilton Head, and decided to change apartments. Several weeks ago she asked me to come help her, so I made plans to make the 13 hour drive to her city to help her move. My ePartnerโs family maintains a time-share condo on the island that they use once a year, however they decided not to use the whole week this year. As I was telling my ePartner about my plans to go help my daughter move, we realized that I would be just a few hours away at the same time she was on the island! She and her husband are happily allowing my daughter and me to use the condo for the remaining 4 days they have paid for!
I drove down from my daughterโs city last night and had a lovely dinner with my beautiful ePartner and her sweet husband, whom I rarely get to see in person because they live 9 hours away from me, in another direction. Then my ePartner and I took a nice walk down to the beach and were able to spend some time by ourselves. We both needed the time together to encourage each other on our journeys, each of us having grown daughters who are hurting and far from the LORD. She is an amazing blessing to me - full of wisdom and grace. I thank the LORD for giving her to me as my encouragement and prayer partner every day!
Today I am spending the whole day alone with my Husband! I canโt wait to go to the beach with Him and soak in His majesty and presence. This evening my daughter will join me and we will spend another few days relaxing and enjoying the beach. I am SO thankful for the opportunity my sweet HH (Heavenly Husband) has given me to love on my daughter and speak softly into her hurting heart. He has allowed me to share an incredible vacation with her that will be refreshing to us both.
I am overwhelmed with the way my HH loves me and knows the desires of my heart, even when I had given up on them. I hadnโt even asked Him for time at the beach, not thinking it was possible. But to have time at the beach with my ePartner, my Husband AND my daughter is more than I could ask or imagine!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to my precious Husband who loves me more than I know or deserve! You are all that I want, You are all that I need and You are all that I long for! As evidenced by the ocean, You are magnificent in every way. My mind just keeps thinking that I am overwhelmed by You. My heart is overflowing with gratitude.
