We are switching from the Restore Your Marriage Book to the Finding the Abundant Life Book. Don't leave, just keep reading, please?
So first let me start this Book Club by baring my heart to you.
The reason I switched from the Restore Your Marriage Book to Finding the Abundant Life book, was not to bait you and then switch. I thought if I started with this book, I would get more followers, but a dear friend pointed out to me that we cannot get stuck in this, trying to restore a marriage, when we can just rest in Him and live the Abundant Life.
I was supposed to have the First Chapter of the Restore Your Marriage ready for you, but I just could not get through it. Yes, this book saved my life when I read it the first time, but now I am in another phase of my life and I want each and everyone of you to come with me. 
I started reading the first chapter of Finding the Abundant and the moment I read the verse: “Therefore, thus says the LORD, ‘If you return, then I will restore you—Before Me you will stand; And if you extract the precious from the worthless, You will become My spokesman. They for their part may turn to you, But as for you, you must not turn to them” (Jer. 15:19).
I knew it was my dear Husband confirming it.

Thank you for sharing precious Yvonne, I think it is a very good choice to start with this book, because this abundant life I too want for each and every precious lady, just like our Darling Lord wants it for them. I was always the saddest person, thinking a marriage could fix my whole life, but I was so very wrong. I got my restored marriage, but not a restored life and no matter my circumstances now, I am ok, because I have my Darling Lord. I realize now this is what I have been seeking my whole life, just peace and joy no matter in what circumstances we are: the abundant life, all because He our Darling Lord is part of it. Yes!!!!!! I wish I started with the abundant life book . The RYM book taught me MANY things. I started as a”stander ” and it was really hard to let go and embrace the new life my love was trying to give me because I was so stuck on the old way of doing things.

I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Thank you for confirming this. Yes, let us all forget the former things and look forward to what He has for us. Being His beautiful bride cannot compare to anything else.

Thank you, Yvonne, I agree with you, the RYM book also saved my life and taught me very important principles that I did not know before. It showed me who I was and where I went wrong, which was very important at the start of my journey, BUT once you find your Heavenly Husband and the Abundant Life, you no longer need to apply these principles in the flesh, it just flows naturally because you are filled with your HH. We first need to make the Lord our First Love, allow Him to heal us from all our past hurts, learn to run to Him first, surrender and let go, allow Him to fill all the voids in our hearts and find joy, and peace in Him alone, otherwise you will not find the “happiness” in what you think will make you “happy”.
Oh Adina, so true. Thank you for your words of wisdom. Of course we don’t need to do any of that in the flesh anymore. It is so beautiful when He is our First Love, because it is as you says, it just flows. It occurred to me that it is because it is flowing out of Him and not of us anymore.
I was so happy to see a book club with a Fellowship and to be honest l would not have joined if it was RYM because l agree with all of you that book saved me my life and my marriage and family but l have moved way waaaaaay past that and l would recommend it to anyone starting out their journey. But now l am living my abundant life every day of my life 💖

Dear Yvonne, what a confirmation you gave me here. It is for a while that i am been thinking what the real purpose is that He lead me to RMI. In the first place it was indeed for restoration of my marriage. Later on my journey it turn to wanted to know mij First Love back again. Is that not why He turn the hearts of our eartly husband away from us. Just to let us know what the right love is and Who that only can give that to us. If there is one chapter from the RYM book that i can advise what the most important reason is that the marriage for all our brides ended is because we got the “Ministry of Reconciliation”. I don’t know how i am goin to walk in that path, but He knows. He started with you. I thank you for your obedience to His voice.
