βNot that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I amβ (Phil. 4:11).
When I read Today's devotional and the verse of today I felt a sense of peace washing over me.
I will be hidden in Him and dwell in His shelter.
βNot that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I amβ (Phil. 4:11).
Beloved, before the Lord will turn your loved-oneβs heart back to you, He is determined to teach you, so that you will learn many things. One very important thing is contentment. You must be content with where He has you now before He can restore you. I have never failed to see this happen.
Yet, this contentment must be contentment in Him. Some are βcontentβ with their life without their promise, but it is more a βsettling forβ than true contentment. Contentment is utter peace and deep joy in being hidden in Him. It is a place that is not affected by surroundings or circumstances, but of total peace. Others continue to fret or panic or see what else they can βtry to do.β The one who has learned contentment is anxious for nothing, happily hidden in Him.
"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty." Psalm 91
amen! He has given me true joy, true peace despite not having my all my precious children living with me. Beloved, help each and every precious heart find their joy in you! help them soar above their circumstances and be joyful despite them. in Jesus name amen
Genuine happiness and fulfillment can only be found through our connection with Him. Instead of settling for less, let’s embrace the blessings and inner peace that He has in store for us.
Dear Elora, yes, we have to first be content in our Beloved and have a intimate relationship with Him first. He must first fill every void in our hearts. Where we are now is exactly where He wants us during our journeys, to get to know Him and built that intimate relationship with Him. We can know and trust that He is in control and working everything out for our good. He gave me these two lessons this morning while I was writing a praise report and placed it in my heart to share it with you:

We can enjoy our waiting season, whatever we are waiting for.
Dear Elora, thank you for sharing this, I love learning contentment. It gives me so much peace to experience that He is changing every area of ββmy life step by step. Now when I feel what it is like to be truly satisfied with the circumstances in which I am, I experience peace, tranquility and happiness, because I know that He is the director of my life.
